Re: Hardware Review: Nacon Asymmetric PS4 Controller - An Affordable Xbox-Style Alternative That's Hard to Fault

I have this controller and it's good. Very comfortable and almost as precise as the DS4 BUT, you can't use the controller to turn on the console and you can't use certain functions like turning off the controller from the settings or dimming the led which is CRAZY bright at night. Had to tape some thick toilet paper to cover the damn light as it was actually hurting my eyes.

For a licenced peripheral I think it's unacceptable of Sony to gimp features for third parties.

If you don't mind having to turn the console on manually by getting up like a chump or you don't care about being blinded then crack on. It's actually a very capable alternative.

Re: Ex-PlayStation Executive: Google Stadia Starts Inevitable Shift Away from Consoles

The idea of Stadia is amazing and the sounds like the future. The reality of crappy internet even developed countries will put the kibosh on the whole thing though. Google made everything sound far too good to be true.

If Sony can't even make their own streaming service viable on current connections, how will Google manage it AND let me do it through my phone and TV? I call marketing bs. Hope I'm wrong though cos I'm still excited to hear more.

Re: Reaction: How Will Google's Stadia Affect PlayStation?

I really hope I'm wrong because this Stadia thing sounds awesome, but come on. Sounds WAY too good to be true. They seriously expect me to believe just by buying their controller I can play PC QUALITY games on my smart TV and phone? Lag free?

Did they even say anything about the quality of the games as far as low, high and ultra settings go?

"However, the expansions for the game will be free, so the cosmetic items will fund and encourage their development"

Funny. I thought that's what paying £60 for a game was meant for...

I have no problems with paid cosmetic DLC and even paid DLC in general if optional but that "fund and encourage their development" bit is just nonsense.
