@RadioHedgeFund @Uromastryx @Ara I love Gollum. The origins behind his character are interesting, and he's used in dynamic ways within the original books. I also have friends who were interested in this game.
Though considering the number of you who are saying nobody likes Gollum, it does seem like he's definitely more disliked than liked, which lends credence to your points. But there are people out there, yeah.
I didn't even know if had been that long. I stopped following their showcases when they dropped out of E3. Much easier to just read a headline. Naturally this leads to me buying less of their games, but surely they were aware of that.
@UltimateOtaku91 As someone who has regularly followers every gaming scene I can possibly find. No one genuine actually wants more live service games. Nintendo has been trying to release their games live service style by releasing stuff half baked and then finishing it later, usually not even bothering to fully patch it up even. This is a common complaint among fans. And those on mobile have been getting increasingly annoyed with the formula because games that are online only which usually have IAPs end up getting shuttered after only two years. And I've watched almost every Xbox showcase since 2015, if you read the live chat comments on one of those videos, the amount of moaning about Microsoft's newest shooty game, whichever generic one they show, is enormous. Large companies get a large amount of flak no matter what they do, but sometimes it's justified, and I think trend chasing something that was ethically questionable to begin with is deserving of some flak. Additionally, check comments on Nintendo and Xbox gaming sites, particularly Nintendolife and Pure Xbox, you'll find people similar to yourself making the same argument about how nobody gives their competitors flak for this or that. It's simply incorrect no matter who says it, so if you're not seeing the criticisms of competitor's products, you're probably looking in the wrong place.
@Mikey856 Resolution and frame rate aren't nearly as important as style and composition. Regardless, Horizon probably does look much better than TOTK yeah, Nintendo has stumbled a lot since they entered into HD development.
@supergurr I am a Disney and Nintendo fan. I vapidly dislike most games Nintendo has put out recently, including TOTK and couldn't be bothered to watch Strange World.
On another note, you're not really all that wrong. But if we're being accurate, most fan bases suffer from this curse. Try telling a Sly Cooper fan that you don't like Sly 2. You will be sacrificed on their alter.
Something about the way this guy speaks is off putting. I doubt he really gets the point of keeping these stores open either. He's just covering his hide after the colossal screw up, which was obviously a bad choice from the outset.
It was a pretty disappointing month for me as well, but considering I play on all platforms it's definitely a better showing than Nintendo has had with well... Anything as of late. I'd rather they either focused on one higher quality game a month or just took the games out and cut the price.
I'm pretty excited, I've played every Digimon RPG except Data Squad and Dawn/Dusk.
Cyber Sleuth wasn't the best, I like to focus on three Digimon so I prefer Digimon World 2's combat, and Digimon World 2 had a more vibrant world, which is saying a lot.
I want a real digital world like in 1, 3, and Re:Digitize.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for February 2025?
It had one game I was interested in, which was Sonic Racing. I'm probably not playing it though, so this is why I never bought a PS5.
Re: All of a Sudden, High on Life Is Out Now on PS5, PS4
This was honestly one of the worst games I've ever experienced.
Re: AEW: Fight Forever (PS5) - A Superkick Party Pooper Fit for Elite Fans Only
This review doesn't make much sense, the pros far outweigh the cons.

@PenguinLtd Absolutely me. I really wanted to. But tis not to be.
Re: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum (PS5) - There's Nothing Precious About This
I was really excited for this. What a shame.

Did Peter Molyneux work on this game?

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Is Flying Up Sales Charts After Stellar State of Play Show
I just miss turn based combat.
Re: Hateful Comments Prompt Resident Evil 4 Remake's Ada Wong to Nuke Instagram Account
Her performance really was miserable. Still, take your grievances to the company, not the actor. It's their fault they accepted that quality of work.

RIP 2K, you are dead to me.
Re: Pewdiepie Gets Pulled by Disney After Controversial Stunt
@get2sammyb A lot of Youtubers partner with Maker, I believe Epic Rap Battles of History does as well, and that's certainly not family friendly.

@WanderingBullet Her skin has her ice block ability turn her into a snowman.

No, not Disgaea!
Oh well I guess.

Crash is back, hopefully for good.

@vagineer1 Right there with you on Dark Cloud.

Re: Digimon World: Next Order Is Coming to Vita in the West After All
It's good reason for me to get a Vita, I value Digimon, and prefer portable gaming so this is great for me.
Re: Digimon World: Next Order Could Be Coming West on PS4
@Tsurii Digimon World 2, and 3 were very traditional RPG's.
The only one that was actually about raising them was the original.
