Some good news for fans of Sony's portable system: Digimon World: Next Order is coming to Vita after all. Earlier today, we reported on Bandai Namco's confirmation that the role-playing game would be heading West next year, but the press release only mentioned one platform: the PlayStation 4. Strange, we thought, given that the title originally launched as a Vita exclusive in Japan.
Fortunately, it looks like that was just a simple mistake on the publisher's part. According to a revised press release received by Gematsu, Next Order is indeed releasing on Vita in North America and Europe, although it's worth pointing out that it'll only be available digitally.
Are you breathing a sigh of relief? Dust off that handheld in the comments section below.
Update: Sorry to burst your bubble Vita fans, but it turns out that Digimon World: Next Order is not coming to Vita in the West. You can read the full story through here.

It's good reason for me to get a Vita, I value Digimon, and prefer portable gaming so this is great for me.
Can't wait to play it on the big screen.
Yes, crisis averted! For that I'll double dip & get it for both platforms even though I don't think it'll be anywhere near as good as Cyber Sleuth.
Now just up the roster by 50 or so digimon.....
Number 1 reason to stop playing PS4 and dust off my Vita.
What do you mean "update, it's not coming to Vita in the west?
