Re: Sony Game MLB The Show 21 Will Be Free with Game Pass on Xbox, Full-Price on PS5, PS4

Having been a PS owner/supporter since PSone through PS5, and a huge baseball/MLB The Show fan, this news made me cancel my pre-order for MLBTS 21 from BestBuy. See, I recently got a Xbox Series X, just so I could game with my Xbox/PC friends more easily. It was impossible for them to get a PS5, or they just couldn't afford it. Game Pass Ultimate can be found online for under $7 a month, and honestly it is the best deal in gaming at the moment. I've had PS Now (as well as PS Plus), and honestly, unless Sony can release their first party studios games within the first month or two of release like MS can, they are going to get torched in the future. PS5 is definitely the better console, in my opinion, and there is no comparison in the superiority of the PS5 Dual Sense over any Xbox controller, but Game Pass Ultimate is the real deal. Sony needs to step up to the plate, pun intended. I agree with the thought of how long MS can keep this up for $15 a month and be profitable, but they do have an endless cash flow with their Office 365 services that they sell, among other software/services. I will always be a PS gamer first, but Xbox is really pressing Sony at the moment. Competition is good for the industry, so hopefully this will only push both companies to continue to grow and listen to their fanbase, most importantly.

I have not done this, as I bought a separate external SSD for my PS4 games, but a friend of mine did this, and he told me it was simple plug and play. He undocked the external HDD from PS4, plugged it into PS5, and all his games were there - it did not auto reformat, but I imagine it would give you the option to do so.

I actually prefer to play from a gaming chair. As one ages, the recliner or couch just doesn't offer the same support as a great gaming chair, like an Arozzi does. I can work or game for hours in it, and not wake up the next morning feeling like I slept on a log. Just roll it over from the desk to in front of my TV, and I'm good.
