Black ops 6 campaign.

Original was made on unreal engine 4, I wonder if they switched to version 5+, performance might take a hit on base PS5, the games I've recently played using unreal engine 5 have performance issues even at 1080p.

Looking forward to the reviews, hoping for a demo to play.

I've lost interest in this game and never finished it, it was ok but I preferred Valhalla. Will sell disc and get some money back.

So the PC version has much better texture quality, raytracing including global illumination and better ray traced Shadows? I've not seen the PC version myself but no doubt the frame rate can be superior. If this is the case then the technology director is in for a ear ache 👍😂

I paid £58 for disc version and the game just works, this patch is basically qol stuff, to be honest the 30fps hideout didn't really bother me that much cause I don't spend much time there, auto horse follow path Will help those with disabilities of the hands, nothing major in this patch for me personally, great game but novelty is waring off now, great open world 👍

Hair FX looks better on pro, I've tried all modes and I'm one of those gamers who can't tell much difference so I stick with performance mode.

AC Shadows, just got Alan Wake 2 Deluxe edition in the sale and Silent Hill 2, so dropping in and out them three games.

It's simple maths for me, developers should keep pushing forward the graphics and aim for better photo realism and raytracing and motion capture and physics in the game world. PS5 has been showing its age in some recent titles that's why there are compromises, 30fps is a poor show, the balanced 40fps is a slight improvement, 60 should be the minimum with excellent graphics but as always it requires a powerful machine, PS6 needs to be powerful or it'll be a joke if there is still 30fps, but that's just the way I see it, I'd go PC but I'm priced out of that platform, wages need to increase ha

@Ryu_Niiyama Hey well said amigo, I found it a tad slow to start but it's growing on me. It's definitely an 8 it's great lots to do it's the tried and tested formula, not every gamers brew but I'll keep sipping it.

Yeah picked my disc copy up couple days ago, always a trade in to recoup some cost, but although a slow start with this game I'm actually starting to have fun, great graphics Ubisoft Devs never disappoint on their amazing open worlds, me like and well done Ubisoft thanks people, just want Splinter Cell remake asap.

Purchased doom eternal deluxe edition recently on ps store for £15 lost interest not that far in the campaign, not that keen on 2016 title, doom 3 still my favourite.

AC Shadows, bit boring at the start hoping it gets better characters are a tad boring too but I like the parkour flip lol and combat is also a tad basic and just spamming the buttons lol. AC Valhalla 1 AC Shadows 0. At least I got the disc to trade in, yikes.

Just got the disc version for £58. It's expensive but itching to get back to fragmented memories, the anvil game engine is taxing the ps5 unless you're ok with quality 30 fps, It's performance mode for me for the smoother play. PS5 is showing its age in this iteration and that's why when I compare with the last game AC Valhalla feels the better experience, still early days for my own review but it is not gripping me like Valhalla did even at the start, I'm hoping it gets better?

Napalm Molotov and shotgun what a combo, replayed this game so many times recently and traded the disc for another game might be a little bit too fresh in my mind and I'm not a trophy hunter. If I spot a copy cheap I might be tempted?

@Uromastryx I appreciate your input many thanks, the ritual part you have to press different buttons, some of these gameplay activities don't appeal to me if I'm honest but if they are short or skippable it might be ok? I'll check out a few more gameplay videos and see if the price drops a bit, it's quite expensive.

Outlook on the horizon is a bit bland for me this year so far if I'm honest very much like the last one, metal gear solid delta maybe borderlands 4? And now I'm not sure about AC Shadows? Maybe some unannounced titles might get revealed?

Open world and seasonal changes look great to me, it's not every gamers cup of tea so to speak oh and speaking of a brew I watched worth-a-buy impressions YouTube gameplay video and some of the play through looked a tad bland if I'm honest, was vid was somewhat funny, he said there is a mission where you go pat a dog? Another where you host a tea party lol, and another where you go through some weird ritual praying thing? can anyone confirm these missions are side quests or can you skip these types of missions, it's not something I want to pay for. Worth-a-buy used Ubisoft subscription model and so didn't pay full price and he uninstalled after 7-8 hour play time

Just recently got this game, not keen on the gambling but open world and stealth/sneaking around is great fun and still a fan of the snowdrop engine. Thumbs up.

This game has gone dark, nowhere to be seen, there was a slow build up and anticipation/maybe a december 2024 release but the silence is loud? snake on a snooze fest?

I didn't realise Massive Entertainment got any backlash? their Snowdrop (game engine) is excellent imho so I was suprised reading some negative feedback on this aspect, guess I'll see for myself one day. Your post was well thought out and some really good fair points to be made.
