@Reform There were some reports of the liquid metal pooling or even leaking from it's seal from PS5's stood upright for too long, it's hard to know what's true and what isn't

The link to the YT video below shows a repair technician working on a faulty ps5 who said it's not easy to prove the liquid metal dry spots on CPU/heatsink was causing the shut down of that console. My take on this is millions of electronic items are produced and so there will always be some manufacturing issues I suppose. Not sure about the slim edition?

@Flaming_Kaiser Maybe they dont want to spend a tons of time making it run on the series S not every developer has the manpower or funds.

Yeah forced production would be terrible and I would assume Hero Games? (investor) does not have an endless money pit. Maybe they need another 3-6 years for optimization experience? i don't know I personally don't care either way because I purchased the base version and thought it was ok at best.

They killed off a likeable protagonist and now they just roll with the fem protagonists. Their recent game trailer was a bit on the dull side and the fem protagonist came off a bit irritable but it's only really a sneak peek. I just wish they had option for male or female protagonist or character creator. This is just my take though, every gamer is different.

GSC Game World got S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 Heart of Chornobyl to work/play on the XboX Series S console and using Unreal Engine 5, albeit lower resolution/graphics and 30 fps and it's a much bigger game world than BMW, maybe a Game Science developer lack of knowledge/capablity on this engine?

I don't have any PS5 games on disc at the moment so can't do a noise test but I have The Divison 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint PS4 disc version and the spin up on my PS5 and I can hear them and it is quite annoying because sometimes they keep spinning in the disc drive and I mainly use open back headphones plugged into the controller, yeah I can still hear the disc drive spinning the disc. When I get a PS5 disc i'll see if it's noisy? I have several digital only games now so i'm not fussed if it's all digital in the end. Just purchased Metro Exodus on the ps store for £3.49 I think it was, lol.

1&2 on pc with nvidia PhysX and the cell shading art style were ok and fun but during my playtime with the third entry I lost interest and never finished it. Nothing quite like the first time for me personally for most games, I think you have to be a dedicated fan to keep going with each new entry.

I really want to play Stalker 2 heart of Chornobyl, lol that means I got to buy Xbox Series X.

I'd rather spend more and get a decent monitor and build a pc that will give me personally a much better experience overall, and no exclusivity nonsense with games, higher framerates/refresh rates, higher texture quality, higher quality ray tracing. Slightly cheaper games and free multiplayer, no online subscription.

Pure Xbox review 4/10 yikes, I watched the review and yeah it's rough in places and the open world is a bit bland and devoid of life, it looks like it needs some form of fast travel. It needed more dev time, a rushed product like cyberpunk.

There are only 2 versions available on disc and digital. PS4 version and PS5 Remastered version.

I had the digital PS4 version and paid £10 for the upgrade to Remastered PS5 version.

I'm not sure about this game anymore even though I do like stealth, I'm more interested in Tom Clancy's The Division 3.

Yeah it's a common report, I watched Worth-A-Buy YT review funny bloke but he did say that there is a great game underneath the technical issues but he does not recommend it in its current state. Does not bother me personally because I watched some gameplay videos and it was the same old same old, I played the first game on pc when it first came out, heart of chornobyl is more like a mod imho. NPC's are as dumb as rocks lol.
