@WolfyTn to be fair the variation in islands is really good and the attention to detail on all of them is great. Problem is, atm theres not much to do cept gather supplies and quests. The NPC backstories are quite good too.
Hopefully they'll add island combat and proper boat boarding. Everybody praises SOT now, but remember at launch and for a good time after it was terrible.

@GeminiReign not once have I said I want HD2 to die. And yes this gen I much prefer Xbox, just as last gen I preferred PS4. Hence why i visit these sites, plus a number more including Nintendo.Back in the 70s I was an Atari boy, so? And you're right I don't have a PS5, nor for I want one.
I'll wait for PS6 thnx. And yes I do have an AMD rig which is more than capable.

@NinjaNicky yeah I actually can't disagree with what you said. PC players always whine about something 😀. I agree on your assessment of player counts too, however there is a major roadblock you mentioned. The level cap. Unfortunately it will most likely stay at 50. That was the problem with HD1. The cap there never raised so once you had all the stratagems and killed a billion or two bugs n mechs, it got - not boring (I still play HD1 on PS4) but very 'samey '.

Sales don't automatically mean the games a success. A live service game as we all know needs a sustained and growing fanbase. Unfortunately I don't think HD2 will last long. Most are already moving on.

Artists have always drawn inspiration from other art. People assume that using A.i. is a cop out or not real art. It takes a great deal of skill to create a great A.i. image.
It's not just a case of typing 'make me an image of x'. It takes an artist to then take that raw data and crop, cut , apply post rendering techniques in order for a final usable image. Virtually every good piece of A.i art requires some form of post processing in a photo editing tool, which takes skill and intelligence to use correctly.

@GeeEssEff there's exactly one comment from 1 person saying that. Everyone else has no problem buying the game on Xbox either. Why lie?

Yeah not bad I suppose. Realistically one could purchase a 144hz Oled 15.6 for around £120 and a digital powersupply for about £350 and take ones PS wherever one likes. Wouldn't weigh as much either.

@JuiceboxMeister yeah I agree microtransactions suck. Fortunately atm seems to be confined to mobile and online. Though I guess releasing a 'Deluxe' version of a game with a few extra skins amounts to the same.
Guilty of this myself. Recently bought Robocop:Alex Murphy edition on Xbox just for the Hero skin and OCP shotgun. Though due to the xbox algorithm it was actually cheaper than standard version 😀.

@WolfyTn I'd suggest replaying them man. There's much more to a game than the controls. Plus you were like 6yr old, I doubt you were really able to understand the storyline fully.

@belmont didn't know HFW was able to run on PS4. Had no problem running HZD though on a PS4 pro.

@Fiendish-Beaver 😀 very true. I just started a fresh run of BG1 a few weeks ago after not playing it for at least 10years. Man it's janky lol but daym it still holds up. Had totally forgot about Minsc and his hamster Boo 😆.

@Fighting_Game_Loser I think people have got SF fatigue tbh. Same ol same ol. Personally I think they hit the pinnacle of the series with SF2 turbo edition.

@Olmaz to see 'all the possibilities ' would take around a few hundred playthroughs. No way you did it all in just 2 runs. Literally impossible.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner ahh I c my mistake. And yeah I agree, I don't think Starfield was #1. Personally I'd put #1 BG3, #2 Aw2, #3 unsure SM2 or Forza, #4 Starfield, #5 Robocop. Great year for gaming though. On a par with 98 I reckon.

@ThomasHL that's usually when the most fun happens:). There's not really a 'wrong' way to play BG3. My advice, start a game with the intention of making all the wrong choices. You'll be surprised how much fun it can be and gets you out of the 'directed game' approach. i.e. go here, collect that, do this etc.

@Jamiehook1989 😁 I just replied to Ultimate with pretty much the same lol. I think reason for less salt over there though is its 100% reader votes. Can't really argue much. Personally I'd put BG3 #1 and Aw2 #2. Not sure on rest but I'd definitely put SM2 above Starfield.

@UltimateOtaku91 not true. There's a level of saltiness over on PureXbox too. Reason there isn't more fuss on PureXbox is they ONLY used reader votes not staff. Plus they published exact voting numbers with each game. Wasn't close between 1st and 2nd but very close between the rest.
I think both sides will kinda ignore these #1 and count them as 2nd to BG3. I reckon that's fair, #1 BG3 on everyyhing, #2 on PS SM2, #2 on Xbox Starfield (personally I'd put AW2 no2 but meh).

Numbers. So Sony are outselling Xbox at 3-1. And Sony have sold 50m units. But Xbox have apparently only sold 7.1m units. Either Xbox have sold closer to 16m units, or Sony have sold just over 20m units. Imo the second set of numbers are much more accurate.

@naruball yeah but it's not 'dominating'.. atm SM2 sits in 4th best-selling, behind:
1.Hogwarts Legacy.
2.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
3.The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
4.Spiderman 2

@MrMagic why would I watch someone else's comparison video? I can do my own by booting up BG3 on all platforms and checking myself . Which i have done, side by side. And, imo, it runs, looks and feels better on Series X. You can't say I'm wrong as it's my preference and opinion. You may prefer playing on PS, cool idm. Why fo you care which version I prefer? Does it somehow affect or detract from your gameplay? Imo I also much prefer SM1 on the PS4 pro to SM2 on PS5.

@ChrisDeku yes I do. It's sales figures you were talking about. Xbox sales up 176% and PS ( DESPITE SELLING MORE) have only increased their market share 24%. Yes there are more PS in the wild ATM but if those figures continue to hold true, in a few months could be a very diff picture.

@PixelDragon why would I troll? It's accepted that thr version released for XboX was more polished than when it released a few months ago. There's been multiple updates since the initial launch. Also I play across multi platforms, as you will see from my past posts. I'm not a fanboy and have both versions of BG3, on PS5 and Series X. And imo, the Xbot version runs much better, feels more optimised somehow.

@Bionic-Spencer you fail to mention the Series X version vs PS5. Runs way better on Series X as it's a more polished release. Also Series S version runs the same minus split screen. Who uses split screen nowadays?

@Th3solution fyi, BG3 wasn't a 'timed exclusive '. Xbox just wanted to wait for parity so series S users could enjoy the game as intended too. Since that was dropped the Xbox vers now released and in much better shape than launch. It runs way better on series X than on PC and PS.
Also Xbox 1st party got 2 TGa, and Sony ... umm 0. And for SM2 to be nominated SEVEN times and get 0 is just funny.

@Bionic-Spencer Sony has only 'smashed competition ' in some countries not all. PS advocates always seem to forget the countries where Xbox trounces PS. Funny that.

What you fail to mention is how Xbox sales in the UK absolutely destroy PS. Xbox has a 71.3% market share too and PS has 26.1%. Nintendo in UK sits at 0.1%. So PS may be no1 in EU, but not in EU +UK + Germany.
