Re: Guide: How to Kill Rom, the Vacuous Spider in Bloodborne on PS4

@jesswood13 You can access the clinic before this fight & kill the mad doctor/hunter lady, make sure you collect the invitation to Cainhurst Castle when you explore the clinic. I've not killed Rom yet, that's next on my to do list. I've just finished exploring Cainhurst, which was a fun little bonus area.

Re: Bloodborne Gets an Unintended Easy Mode

I defeated Amelia pretty easily & I know I've had my console on for long periods of time as I have been enjoying long sessions on Bloodbourne. I remember my battle with the blood starved beast was quite tough but when I fought Amelia, in hindsight she seemed pretty useless. I had presumed I'd maybe stunned her & exploited her weakness, I had no intention of trying to use glitches etc. I'm aware of people using glitches to defeat Father Gasgoigne & also the Hunter in the graveyard, but I refuse to use these, even when I'm struggling as I feel that defeats the object of the game. I hope this gets patched asap, it seems this game could have benefited from another month or two in Q & A testing.

Re: Review: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - The Bright Lord (PlayStation 4)

I got SOM cheap at Christmas, finished it & got the platinum, then traded it into CEX. I was debating if to buy the season pass then but I don't like paying for content in advance before I know what I'm actually getting. I think I'll buy it again in the future when it's cheap or wait for a definitive edition to be released.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V's Online Mode Is Getting More Than Just Heists

I got the PS4 version of GTA5 for £40 from Amazon, & although I still own a digital copy on my PS3, I was more than happy to invest in this game again. I can enjoy revisting the single player & Rockstar have been excellent with supporting the online mode with free content. We may have had to wait for the heists, but I think the wait will have been worthwhile & I think more developers should take note how to support a game ( I'm looking at you Ubisoft)

Re: Rumour: Sony Bend Was Working on an inFAMOUS Title for Vita, But It Got Zapped

I purchased a Vita on the day of release and I got Uncharted: Golden Abyss with it. I personally struggled to get into the game as It just felt like a poor relation to the Uncharted series on the PS3. I have since sold the game, but I have it on PS Plus & I attend to re-visit it, in the future. I actually spent more time playing Plants vs Zombies, which I enjoyed immensely & felt it was well suited for the Vita. I don't think the scale of Infamous would transfer to the Vita, I'd be very surprised if it could handle a large sandbox style game. I'm very disappointed in the support of the Vita by Sony it seems like they don't care about the console in the west. I remember early adaptors of the 3DS were given free games by Nintendo when there was a price drop I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) It's a shame Sony hasn't done the same as compensation for lack of support or invested more in first party software. I always wished the Monster Hunter franchise as it was big on the PSP would come to the Vita but it looks like Nintendo have the franchise pretty sewn up on the 3DS and Wii. I still have my Vita but have only purchased one game in the last year which was Ys: Memories of Celceta, any other games I got are whatever were on PS Plus.

Sorry for the long post & going off into a bit of a tangent. If I have made any grammar or spelling mistakes, I have Dyslexia & have tried to be as concise as possible.
