Re: Poll: So, Is Monster Hunter Wilds 'Too Easy'?

@DennisReynolds I'm not sure the UI could be much better given the many, many complex systems and requirements it needs to serve. I would hate it if they adopted something like a "weapon wheel" from Horizon or GTA.

They tend to deliver QoL UI tweaks along with some of the Title Updates so we'll see what they come up with. I suspect they'll use Nata more as a one-stop shop for "village meals" and farms

The LR campaign difficulty is ridiculously low. They should buff the monsters and/or nerf the hunters.

HR is still too easy but it keeps you on your toes just enough.

Highly recommend benching your Palico, using traps and Seikret rescues sparingly, and not upgrading armor w/ spheres if you want it to be a little harder.

So far it's just too easy I'm afraid. Wound popping is OP, my main's new move is also OP. They need to buff monsters and nerf hunters with a balancing patch. I genuinely don't know what they were thinking giving Large Monsters hp pools that last 3-4 minutes if you're moderately familiar with your moveset

Pretty excited about PC performance in demo 2. Arkveld is an annoying fight for SA/IG/SnS because those weapons remain unbuffed and you really need to gather Parashrooms and bowgun-buff yourself to help with the timer. As for the regular PS5... gotta hope they optimize it better or give a nice settings option that gives you decent visuals @ 40fps. Pro should be very good.

@GeeForce I don't agree — I miss the GameCube days when Nintendo's games were state-of-the-art. Rogue Squadron 2 was a jaw-dropping moment for me. I have been a Nintendo fan since I was a small child but the Switch has been disappointing in terms of first-party games aside from the two Zelda titles. Nintendo is making a fortune charging $50 and $60 for old games on old hardware... can't argue with their business success but it's a bummer for me as a fan.
