IO made money from this regardless - these things get people to buy games. So what does this accomplish? They should be giving people refunds if they actually care

A lot of vocal people on gamer sites like this one thought the Portal would fail. Not only did the portal not fail, its one of the most successful gaming accessories this year. Turns out a lot of casual gamers, like adults with kids, cant use the TV and want to play elsewhere in their homes. So take a grain of salt when reading the comments in sites like these from people who have "no interest".

Their free beta failed. Very few people played it that weekend, compared to other games that had a free beta. That was Sony's last chance to save this game - and what did they do? Ignore the feedback the community was giving, dismissed all of it as "bigotry". And unfortunately, it's the devs who pay the price, not the decision makers who deserve it.

Wow, so many people on this site were so pissed to see Microsoft swallow up Activision when they thought none of their games would ever again be on PS. Now that Sony is allowing more people to play games on PC you're salty?!! Are you gamers, or are you shareholders? Why do you care if someone else played on PC or PS5?

@themightyant Unfinished work that was leaked by a hack can be pretty harmful. Look how many idiots thought Insomniac's games "looks so bad" even though the game literally was not finished and not ready to be shared.

Cowardly and pathetic by Ubisoft, whether it was Outlaws, Sucker Punch, or possible Japanese reaction to a multitude of inaccuracies in trailers (not merely a black samurai in Japan, as other posters here claim). Ubisoft needs to be sold immediately, free its good IP rotting away under garbage leadership.

This website censors comments about piracy, yet publishes articles about circumventing Sony's requirements.... Curious.

The demo was great and I will buy this at some point. 13 Sentinels is my favourite from them though

A solid 8. The story lacks the depth i was hoping for in terms of exploring the world of Warhammer 40k, but the gameplay more than makes up for it.

I will agree that this is noticeable. It's clear Sony should've used third-party games for its presentation. I guess they didnt want to dump on how bad third party games are on the base PS5.

However - this isn't good enough for me at that price. I'd pay more for a much noticeable difference, which means going on PC.

Ff7 Rebirth is locked on a platform that hasnt sold as well as the PS4. When it goes on PC it'll sell more. Its just that simple

Edit: If this was a large DLC then sure, but a few cutscenes, not to mention graphical fixes and bugs, shouldve been in the game in the beginning. Remember when people got angry that Mass Effect 3 was incomplete, and even when they released the extended cut EA still got slammed for putting in late? Those were better days

Completely absurd that a stealth-based game gives the player so few tools to use. A slowly charging silent shot, a knockout that must be used very close, and the animal companion. Thats it. Cant even hide bodies. Metal Gear Solid figured out how to make stealth fun and varied decades ago!

@Jacko11 Like I thought, you don't know game dev. RDR2 was in development before GTAO came out, and GTA VI still isnt out and its 2024. Neither depended on the money made from GTA Online. That money went to shareholders and execs. But you know what was cancelled? Single player dlc for GTAV. 😂😂

As has been proven over and over, casual gamers form the majority of gamers (see the success of the PS Portal, if you dont believe me). And if you have other hobbies besides gaming (a casual), then shelling out at least 1500 USD for a moderately good gaming PC is absolutely not going to happen. Same with parents who dont have time to mess with settings. Same with people who live in poor countries. A PS5 is still the best deal for these people. Exclusives also dont matter to them because they will not play on PC. I believe those numbers. I know the hard core community wants to believe they are the most important group, but sadly they arent for the companies making games

@LikelySatan no, Atlus said it wouldn't release a special edition like P5 Royale or P4 Golden. This isnt a special edition - this is dlc. So fans dont have to rebuy the base game just to get additional content

This game is far harder to play than usual hero shooters, if you try to run around shooting you will die quickly. More like Counterstrike. I wouldnt compare Valorant to those games to be honest.

Factions 2 was never going to be the limited MP game some people think it would have been. It would've been a massive live service game like Suicide Squad, Redfall or Anthem... need I say more?
