Number of lines doesn't tell me much, it has to be quality dialogue - or have we all forgotten Forspoken? Neither the gameplay reveal and certainly not the character trailers have been compelling for me. I desperately want to be wrong as I want to see an epic finale to a series I first started playing more than a decade ago with DA:O.
Gaming is for everyone... but not all games are for every person, just like any other kind of art. A game that was specifically designed for certain difficulties is much better than taking a game, changing some modifiers, calling it easy and calling it a day. Difficulty is part of the art itself. And acknowledging that is not gatekeeping.
Some of these comments are exactly why these leaks are so dangerous - the game is not finished, and most what makes a game triple A game (graphics, smoothness, overall feel) only come in late when the structure is finished. But some people judge a game as a finished product from these leaks...
While I distrust Ubisoft, I strongly distrust Eurogamer especially after their completely nonsensical review of FF16. So, I'll wait and see for the actual reviews
Please yes, they've really done fantastic work so far with the FF7 trilogy. I love how they've added meaningful story and character arcs, rather than the slop of lazy 1 for 1 remakes and remasters that this generation is cursed with
Stunning that WB games had the most successful game in 2023, which was single-player, then a massive bomb in Suicide Squad this year - a direct result of it being a live-service game, and still wants to only do live service multiplayer. So much creative bankruptcy in this industry at the AAA level
@Pistolega FF Rebirth is a full game. 80+ hours, full character arcs, full narrative arcs. Its like saying Empire Strikes Back isnt a full movie because its the 2nd of a trilogy. Just doesnt make sense
Lot of misunderstandings here on what is a monopoly. If the Playstation Store is the only place you can buy games digitally for the PS5, then it is a monopoly. You cannot buy PS5 games digitally anywhere else - it is a monopoly. 7/11 is not a monopoly - you can buy your toothpaste elsewhere. Sony has used its monopoly to artificially set its prices high. Steam, for example, is not , as there are other digital storefronts to buy digital PC games - and they have far better sales as a result.
