Well, it may not be Stronghold II, but you should check out Grand Ages Medieval! Coming to PS4 in a few months, and it looks pretty great to me. Ambitious, in depth, and in a medieval setting. I'll be picking up both that and Nobunaga's Ambition when they come out!
A million miles away from Melbourne? I'm not sure about that. I could be wrong, but... Isn't that a ruined Sydney Harbour Bridge early on in that trailer?
In any case, it looks awesome. Peaceful, serene, and quite striking. I'm not gonna pick this up immediately, because Wander is all too fresh in my mind, but if this reviews even ok, count me in.
Finally playing through the campaign of Advanced Warfare. At its core, it's pretty fun! I think it stumbles a bit with its non-standard sections, like the drone and hoverbike bits, but it's leagues ahead of ghosts. Currently watching WWE Beast in the East though. Neville vs Jericho! Balor vs Owens! If anyone knows what I'm talking about, it's pretty awesome so far
Ah, ok. Thanks so much for your response! I think I'm gonna enjoy exploring the game anyway, just because it seems rather unique, and I enjoyed Journey immensely
Thanks for the review! It's probably something I'll get anyway, because it sounds unique and like something I'd enjoy despite its flaws. One question though; can it be played offline?
Fantastic! Samurai Warriors 4 was one of the best games I played last year, and having just (finally) finished Tearaway, I'm looking for something new. Tearaway, incidentally - the best game on Vita, in my opinion.
I've never heard of this... It sounds interesting though! This may sound like a stupid question, but does anyone know how I can access it/if it's available in all regions?
Woah...I wasn't the only person to vote for Hot Shots Golf! I know it probably won't be the most ambitious title here, or an amazing technical showcase, but I loved the Vita iteration. The series just has that fantastic "one more round" feel for me! Although I am really excited for RIME and Bloodborne as well
This title made me immediately think of Dynasty Tactics, and that made me sad that there hasn't been a new one of those in over a decade... It's a pity, because that was a fantastic series :/
Ah week. I'll have to stick with Empires for my tactical needs!
Eh, I'll still get it. It looks like the sort of game I enjoy! This is the kind of reviews that Knack got, and I really enjoyed that. Nice review though!
Somebody knows who Trip Lee is? Awesome! Hope you had a fantastic time at the concert, Joey! His newest album is excellent, I think.
This weekend, I'll be playing AC Unity, which I'm having a lot of fun with so far. Not as good as Black Flag, but it's certainly beautiful. I'll also be getting into the excellent Apotheon, which I was prepared to buy day one based on the art style alone, but thankfully it was free on Ps Plus anyway!
Looks fantastic. It's a pity the AU special edition isn't much to write home about...I think you get some lithographs, an artbook, and a pendant, which are all cool, but I'd prefer the statue.
@GhastlyMagician Yeah, I'm afraid it does require a subscription. It doesn't require PlayStation Plus though, as far as I know, and it is both beautiful and very fun. Hope you enjoy your first free month!
I bought this a few weeks ago, and it's honestly the best racer I've ever played. I'm no racing game aficionado or anything, but the tracks are so fantastically designed, so well paced, and so beautiful that it's hard not to love! It's a real pity it had such a shocking launch, but now that it's stable, there's an absolutely brilliant game here!
This new location looks fantastic too, count me in!
Here's a post from the Playstation Blog which talks about it. I haven't actually played beyond the demo of Kickbeat on the Vita, so I'm not sure how exactly it works, or how it'd work in the PS4 version in the absence of MP3 support, but there you go. Hope that helps
I heard that on the Vita, this game had a mode in which you could use your own music, from the mp3 files on your Vita, and it'd create a level based on the beat. Sort of like Audiosurf on the PC, I think. The PS4 doesn't have mp3s though, so is that still a mode on this version? Do they just use Music Unlimited, or have they gotten rid of it altogether?
