Remember yesterday's DriveClub teaser? Well, as promised, Evolution Studios has dropped a full video of the Nakasendo-inspired route, which sees you drifting down mountains, racing through tunnels, and past one or two cherry blossom trees. As with all of the other point-to-point courses in the PlayStation 4 exclusive, it seems alarmingly well paced, with tight corridors contrasted against wide-open spaces, ripe for overtaking.
The location will launch for free later this month, while you'll need to stump up a little extra if you want to drive the featured Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. I bought this a few weeks ago, and it's honestly the best racer I've ever played. I'm no racing game aficionado or anything, but the tracks are so fantastically designed, so well paced, and so beautiful that it's hard not to love! It's a real pity it had such a shocking launch, but now that it's stable, there's an absolutely brilliant game here!
This new location looks fantastic too, count me in!
So, when exactly is the free PS+ version coming? If the game is now running well, why is it not out yet?
I was on the store this morning and was VERY tempted to pay £19.99 for the 'upgrade'.........it sounds like it's worth it now. But if the + version is 1-2 was away maybe I should wait?
For those that have the full game is it 100% right now?
@bman2112 To be honest with you, I think the Plus version will disappoint a lot of people. The game is fantastic, but you won't get much in the free version. I'd recommend just buying it if you're interested.
To be honest, I think that the 'Plus version' will become the 'whole game' this summer.

@bman2112 The PS+ edition will never happen. It would have been here by now if it was coming. In around a years time the whole game will be one of the monthly free games and that's it.
@bman2112 its totally worth it. Awesome game. Online features are fun, handling is easy but also has depth, graphics are beyond amazing at times and the photomode is great to play around with
