Video Games are an art from. At the end of the day, if the artist doesn't want to include a certain type of character (whether it's male, female, an animal, or a different race or culture), the artist has every right to do so.
If you don't like it, that's okay! But what's not okay is forcing the artist to change a character because of said person's own morales and beliefs. That's censorship. And censorship is the death of creativity.
@sinalefa One thing I'd like to add to your comment is that people shouldn't just look at a number and determine if a game is good or not. They need to know more about the game because at the end of the day, it's still something you have to pay a lot of money for. So it's best to know as much as you need to to get the best opinion on it.
Another thing with reviews is that it's all opinion based. While one person might think that the latest Triple A release is a masterpiece, the other might think it's a terrible piece of crap.
@get2sammyb Not a lll the time. Usually with big name franchises like Zelda or Call of Duty, the companies give them ad revenue and interim, reviews sites have to give them positive reviews.
Let's just hope that if Sony decides to hand the Jak and Daxter license to another developer, they hand it over to a more experienced company. We don't want a repeat of last time.

Yeah, in my opinion, Jak II is the weakest entry in the series. Jak 1 was an amazing platform game with great atmosphere, awesome (yet dated) cartoonish visuals and fun gameplay. Jak 3 had a better story, a nice mix in gameplay, and great replay value.
Jak II, while a good jump into the more gritty games, just wasn't evenly balanced. The difficulty was unfair, the story was.....eh and the mission based gameplay was okay. But with that being said, Jak II is still fun.
If this is an actual remake of Jak II, I hope they fixed the things I hated while keeping all the things that worked.
I seriously don't think we'll have the game by 2015. And to be honest, I don't mind that. I can wait Square, just take you time and give something worthwhile!
This is hands down, my favorite game in the Ratchet and Clank series (though Tools of Destruction and Going Commando came pretty close) and it's one of my favorite games of all time. It means that much to me.
This is is probably the hardest thing I've ever had to chose between.......but, I went with Crash Bandicoot strictly because he's been so important to my gaming life. (I still love you though Spyro <3)
Can't wait for 2.5 to release! I was a big fan of the 1.5 Collection; plus it was the game that got me into the Kingdom Hearts series. I really want to play Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth by Sleep, then join the many excited fans in awaiting for Kingdom Hearts 3.

Is this Soma like the one from "Brave New World"?
Re: We're So Glad the Cancelled DOOM 4 Ultimately Met Its Doom
This looks nothing like DOOM! Where's the color, the aliens, the awesome music, the personality?
It's all GONE!

It's sad the film's getting delayed. But hey, at least we know they're not rushing it to release. (That's something!)
Re: Konami Won't Even Let You Share Play P.T. on PS4
Well now that that game is dead and Kojima is gone, what does Konami have left?

Re: A Very Happy Birthday to You, PlayStation 2
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on the PS2 was the first game I ever 100% Completed. I spent a good 3-5 hours everyday for a week doing it.
Re: Ratchet & Clank PS4 Is Further Along Than You Think, and Is Gorgeous
Who knows, this could be the first good video game movie.
Re: Here's One Gigantic List of All The Games Coming to PS4, PS3, and Vita in 2015
So many games; and not one of them is Kingdom Hearts 3. (SIGH!)
Re: Insomniac Seems Ready to Talk Ratchet & Clank PS4
I am a HUGE fan of the Ratchet & Clank series, and I'm so happy to see the original game getting a full-on remake!
Let's hope they'll fix some of the control and weapon issues from the original.

Re: Talking Point: Do Review Scores Have a Future?
In my opinion, I don't think review scores will last long. How can you get an accurate look on a game with numbers, stars and bought out scores.
For me, all I need to know is does the game play well, it it fun, and would you recommend it.
Re: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's Potential PS4 Pack Art Sure Looks Moody
I kinda like this cover. It's good symbolism of the game and how Drake's really pushing himself to his physical limits.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 50
I'm still trying to beat Jak 3 (as of the time of message, that is).
I might also play some Super Smash Bros for 3DS too.

I'll tell you what though, if Sony ever decided to buy Crash and Spyro from Activision, I'd throw all my money that them!
