I wish they’d fix the crappy respawning out of the mission location. Why even call it respawn if you can’t simply continue where you died? you just forget even returning!!!!!!!
@IonMagi Sorry, but no they aren’t, and you aren’t taking in the consideration that every developer who made a game with vrr support coded and enabled it in their game on Xbox. Since the PS5 didn’t have support for the feature they didn’t do anything to enable it. That’s why they need a patch.
I received about 3 or 4 crashes initially in the first two hours of gaming, but after that it never did again. Remastered acted quite funny though. About 10 to 15 times during extremely active gameplay the screen would flash and gameplay seemed to blink frames at around 1 frame every two seconds. At first I thought it was a feature, but then I noticed it happened when a lot was happening on screen. Miles never did it, neither did Astro, so I’m assuming it’s a software issue.
@Jayslow I was under the impression that this collection was specifically for new PS5 owners. Why would Sony just give out their biggest titles for free? You don’t get it because you didn’t make the sacrifice we did even if you couldn’t.
@Blacksmith1985 It’s not as though they are going to do a hardware revision for new batches. If there’s going to be a fix it will be software based for all batches.
Sony really needs to define the benefits of upgrading beyond 3D audio, and loading screens, because we already know that the graphical jump is an obvious no show this time around. We don’t even have actual launch game confirmation . This is already the most lackluster launch for both systems in history. I’d even prefer they waited another year if it meant we’d get worthy games, rather than expanded dlc. Three months to go, and the only confidence these companies can give us is that these systems will be released without compelling content.
@Ridwaano Sony is the market leader so they don’t have to change anything, and probably won’t adjust anything due to the fact that they aren’t really focused on increasing the user base.
@Montys yes and it’s a bunch of nonsense. It reads like an advertisement for Xbox. The reveal for the box wasn’t revealed until E3 last time either. Besides, every single rumor about the PS5 has been debunked besides the TFs so far.
First generation were we aren’t expecting a graphical leap at all, just loading. Next gen seems to be more about developing games and loading screens. 😞
I dont think Im selfish for saying that I hope they dont delay the system at all. Im really looking forward to this system and I dont want to wait a second longer no matter what, and 'SO WHAT!!. That doesnt mean I want any lives risked for my "hobby", but people are forgetting about how serious the situation can get for the people who cant feed their families either. Not only are the faactory workers having to deal with a horrible disease, but their families stomachs arent going to take a corona virus vacation. They depend on these jobs too. And the situation in China is already showing signs of a slow down. Lets hope things continue to improve.
Too bad they didnt make another infamous game instead. This game looks incredibly linear, but beautiful. Yet, I cant see a "Period" game doing as well. Swords vs Powers? Well, id take Powers any day.
I can’t wait!!! Yet, I’m tempering my excitement with the knowledge of diminishing returns. With all the information we’ve received about the new unit, the most important aspect of graphical fidelity improvement hasn’t even made a mention . I’m the kind of guy who will happily deal with loading screens if it means I’ll be blown away with mind numbing visuals. Please don’t reply with the “ faster storage will allow more complex computing and visual effects” argument. I would just rather have Sony focus on making sure we have a difference visually and more directly. I have a feeling we aren’t going to perceive much of a difference.
This Game looks "amazing", but the only thing holding it back is the fact that Sony hasnt invested in any games that make getting a PSVR compelling, and its not fair to indie developers that their audience is limited that way since Sony is only allowing underfunded indie developers to make their case in buying the new headset. Its also not fair that Sony is rewarding its headset owners like myself to have to settle for games we would have never bought outside of VR because they dont look worth our money or time.
@hadlee73 What are you talking about? All VR devices are affected by the success of each other at this point. The medium is too new, and vulnerable to failure for battle lines to be drawn right now. If Developers are going to invest their money into games, they need to see there is the opportunity for making money, and that means cross platform versions are necessary to keep developers interested in creating content.
@Splat I pre-ordered mine from Bestbuy since they actually take all the money out of your account instantly on Sept 8th. However, the only true reason I got it is for the Psvr. I cant see spending $400 on something, only to know in the back of your head that it can look and perform better. I'll probably get a 4Ktv with HDR in November, because I cant see spending $400 on something, only to know in the back of your head that it can look better.

Re: Poll: What PS5 Information Do You Want Most?
@carlos82 that’s what I’m saying. I don’t even see a game I’d want to play yet. I hate buying a $600 console on potential alone!

@JorbNorb realistically we are looking at $599 and Sony is wary
Re: Almost Everyone Is Banking on Sony Announcing PS5 Price and Release Date in August
I believe the prices for these boxes are going to be extremely high. If they were going to be reasonable they would have revealed them by now.
