Sony has revealed that it'll be bringing its cloud streaming services to additional regions across Europe. Previously, PlayStation Now was unavailable in various countries, but with the launch of the overhauled PS Plus in June, the following regions are being added to the list:
- Bulgaria
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- Greece
- Hungary
- Malta
- Poland
- Republic of Cyprus
- Romania
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
Sony says that PS Plus Premium — the subscription's most expensive offering — will be available in all of these regions at launch. That's specifically Premium, by the way — there's no mention of the middle tier, PS Plus Extra, in the official blog post. That's because PS Plus Extra doesn't offer the cloud streaming functionality that PS Plus Premium adds.
Is your country of residence finally getting cloud streaming on PlayStation? Give us an update in the comments section below.

Having played Daytona on PS NOW it was shocking! Streaming PS3 games was bad so no hope for new games.
Sony need to stomach paying $800M for Gakki years ago was a mistake
Cloud Streaming, Finally? Are you serious?
Sony definitely taking there sweet time with this streaming rollout…
Streaming is bad for the PS3 emulator on PS5. I don’t want the emulator on PS Plus.
I’ve tried streaming on PS Now and it’s bloody awful.
Europe getting shafted as always. Wait, wrong article!
Honestly, I did not care about streaming. Only reason why I owned PS Now in WRONG region is for downloadable titles..
I've tried stream on PS Now and it works great.
@scottdevine48
Actually You are not streaming an emulator at all. You are streaming a physical PS3-like hardware server (with custom firmware)
Hmm I streamed fallout new Vegas without problems.
In fact I had no problems with streaming any game.
Must be the great internet we have in the Netherlands.
I can imagine in other countries things are very different
@SovereignFiber Will I play an emulator on the PS5 without PSPlus, hopefully?
@Ashkorsair
Same here, I think the Netherlands takes a top position in the world for faster internet. But we are a small country so i think it,s easier to make this possible. but I also like streaming. No problem with speed and lags in the Netherlands.
@Luigia @Luigia must be youre internet connection. Because here in the Netherlands we no problem streaming.everyone always says that it is up to Sony. But I'm thinking more of the internet provider.
I hope iz will run great I have 1024 Mbit/s in Croatia
@TommyNL I’m on a gigabit connection and playing Daytona PS3 version was soo blurry it was like an N64.
Playing the game on the XBOX ONE was amazing as it’s a full download. Streaming is fine for music and videos, not games
@Luigia @TommyNL i live in the USA and have 400MBPS, i could get a gigabit, but don’t really need it, point is i have 400 and everything is hardwired, no Wi-Fi or anything like that and PS NOW PS3 games run like trash. Straight trash. The Tech that it is running on is just dated and you could throw anything at it and it can’t take advantage of the extra speeds.
Luigi’s: for my Apple Music i even download the files for offline use, it is way better sound quality and worth the memory space on the phone. I can be in my truck or anywhere and not worry about bad service. At home if we lose power, i am good and most importantly i have a high end surround sound system in the house and the music sounds so much better from the download then a stream. For gaming, it’s just not there yet even for the older titles. Credit where credit is due, Google Stadia is actually pretty fast and close to real hardware and Azure from Microsoft keeps taking leaps towards great playable speeds. But it’s still tech that has a long way to cook before it’s fully ready.
@Rural-Bandit great comments and streaming on PS NOW is trash.
@Luigia Yeah it’s got a long way to go and it will need to be an overhaul of service. My bet is Microsoft Azure. Sony just don’t have that type of Tech in its company so they will have to spend on it. This is why the new PS+ is no way close to GP. But for me i don’t need it to be, i only buy exclusive titles on PS. 3rd party is all on Xbox for me. I am excited for God of War tho, i loved the 2018 Reboot. Now that they are making more online games to go alongside the single player games i may end up with more titles on PS5 than i did on PS4, so i am excited for that.
I dont do streaming so no issue for me ill rather have a disk and update a play on my system as a old man.
@Rural-Bandit Dont they already use Azure. 🤪
@Flaming_Kaiser i too prefer my digital downloads for sure and why wouldn’t we. But streaming has it’s uses and will only get better and better, but it’s not so much for me as i like high end quality video and audio. I don’t believe sony has switched over to Azure but they do have a contract in place with Microsoft for it. What Sony intends to use it for has to my knowledge yet to be seen or discussed. But the tech they have now on PS Now is pretty dated.
I have Daytona on my unplugged PS3 but well hope it runs well in PS5. Want to play FF 13 too
Finally in Romania after more then 5 years of wait.
In Romania we are staring to get 10Gbit/s so yes it make sense...
Finally my country was added!
Is the streaming coming to these regions at the launch of PS Plus Premium or are they supposed to be in? I live in one of these countries and I can't subscribe to PS Now.
Ive never seen issues with streaming and ive always had a now subscription. I download and play everything, i have no need to stream. Its only needed for ps3 titles in the new service, but for some unknown reason I bought a ps5 to play new titles and have zero desire to stream a ps3 title to it.... I must be weird...
@nicugoalkeper Romania had already one of the fastest internet speeds in the world that's not a issue. The problem was there was no Sony PS Now servers around.
Yes but still only now the base of PS4 and PS 5 players make sense for PSNow
Yay, Romania finally. The problem is, most older PS users (PS2 era) here have already had accounts on the UK store since way before the official RO store, so this news brings nothing new.
@Rural-Bandit I prefer digital to stay as a far from my bad for as long as possible. Digital download or streaming i will stay away from it for as long as possible. With great thanks to Limited Run Games. 😁
@Flaming_Kaiser well as I’ve said on here many times. The great thing about the industry is we all have choices right now. One option isn’t forcing out the other. I am 100% digital and have been since the middle - almost end of the 360. It’s what works best for me. But i am still happy physical and Services are there for others.
Options are always best.
@Rural-Bandit For me i really would love to see digital away as long as possible. Digital for is selling away the little bit control i have. Preservation of games is as we see it already total nonsense. Its only a new way to control the market but thats my personal opinion /vision. You can have it a thing you like i dont and thats fine. But as long as i have the option i wont buy anything digital if its not needed.
Digital is already here buddy, it takes up almost half the sale with the other half physical. Neither is going away. They both have their audiences.
Czech Republic, woohooo!
