Re: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII's First Trailer Strikes

Wow! There was absolutely nothing exciting/charming/interesting or endearing in that trailer. Plenty of pretensious though. Of course "religion" is the bad guy...is that all they can come up with when trying to create "depth" for their story? Nothing against the voice actress herself, but Lightnings voice/attitude really puts me off. At least it's not a high squeaky little girls voice/cartoon voice.

I just don't know what to say. I wanted it to be an action rpg, with free-running/climbing like Asssassin's Creed, thrown together with lots of dress-up customization, and detail allowed by the limited day/area premise.

This trailer doesn't bode well for that delivery.

I bought the dlc and still no trophies. Pretty certain I dl'd the patch too. Anyone know for certain that the trophy patched shipped in NA?

Re: Yes, Zindagi Has Considered Making a Standalone Table-Tennis Game

I haven't played it much, but it did seem pretty close to 1:1. I think Move is a worthy competitor to the WiiMotionPlus Remote, but they dropped the ball, when comparing the Navcon to the Nunchuk. I think Sony took that leap and wanted to emphasis the use of two Movecons at the same time.

Anyway. Hey Zindagi, get SCEA to release Move Fitness in NA! Thanks!

Re: Destiny Makes History as Bungie Targets PlayStation 3

Now, I'm looking forward to this. The only thing that will kill it for me, is if it's a constant MMO type game. If it can be played offline with splitscreen and LAN (System Link), then I'll most likely be all over it until it passes to the next gen systems. I've decided I won't be buying anymore MS or Sony systems. I recently bought a Vita, and now a 3DSXL, and at this time plan to get a Wii U next summer...but I think that's it. I'm done. So my only hopes are that, 1- the sequels this game gets come to Wii U too. 2- Wii U will start supporting LAN. And 3- that The Last Guardian comes out for PS3!

I really like most of the artwork. The alien ship idea is very cool. So is the walking tank. So is the snow!!

Wow!

Well, I got a terrific deal on my white PSV. It's a nice mchine, I like it. I've been trying many of the demos. And the touch/motion/AR aspects are really fun. But my library of games-to-get, was never big to start with.

I tried the demo for Uncharted nd I think it's great. The motion controlled sniping is intense, though I could see a person turning somersaults and backflips to get to the target before the trget gets to you. Fun.

I keep coming back to Montezuma Blitz thing.
Super Stardust Delt unfortuntely underwhelmed me and lost it's spot on my list. Probably pick it up if it goes on sale.

Yet to try Frobisher. I want to try the demos first. And Gravity Rush is next on my list.

Re: New Until Dawn Trailer Delivers a Difficult Ultimatum

Losing the tiny bit of interest I might have had for this game. This type of "direct communication" horror antics between protagonist and antagonist doesn't interest me. "I'm calling from inside the house!!!" It needs to be more like Alien and Predator, not filled with long drawn out torture/potential torture scenes.

Re: PlayStation 3 Owners Revolt Over Firmware Update 4.30

I'd like to delete netflix if I choose to. I'd appreciate trophies being back in the games column. And if singstar ever arrives for NA it better be under the music column, but I don't want it taking up precious space on my hdd.

I'd actually like to be able to sync my trophies, haven't been able to for two weeks now.

Maybe if the PS Store icon appears in sveral different columns, the trophies icon could appear in games and network too.

Re: Sony Bullish About PS3 and Vita Connectivity

ThreadShadow

I could see Sony using this to try and push Vita sales...but I think it will end up as popular as using your psp for a rearview mirror in Gran Turismo. They would have to start packing the Vita with the PS3 for it to catch, and they're not going to do that.

Re: Review: Double Dragon: Neon (PlayStation Network)

ThreadShadow

From the demo, I'd say, they did an excellent job. Two complaints so far though. 1. the control is a little too stiff. It doesn't feel as fast and 1to1 as the old 8bit games.
2. While Neon Linda is very uh voluptuous, I don't think Linda's were supposed to be pain/pleasure freaks. Linda was just a punk girl who used a whip sometimes. Imo.

WayForward really knows it though, they kept the battles facing left and right, none of this up and down stuff. It just doesn't seem to work for Double Dragon games.
A new continue screen to rival the old Ninja Gaiden arcade continue screen too!

Overall, really good job WayForward!
