Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’s international box art is great – but clearly publisher Konami was concerned that North American consumers wouldn't take to the close-up of protagonist Raiden’s robot face. As such, the company has produced a brand new image showing the aforementioned cyborg slicing an adversary in half.
We suppose it gets the point across better than the alternative box art, but we’ll miss that sultry shot of the controversial character’s luscious silver locks. Luckily, we've got a poster of the former front cover hanging on our bedroom wall.

"Transfarring, TO THE EXTREEEEME!"
Hmm, looks like I'll be printing out my own cover. I like the Japanese cover in the top right corner better.
That looks pretty sweet...
...But what about the traditional Metal Gear covers with Yoji Shinkawa's art? Why can't they do that with Rising? Anyone with me? No? Oh...
Yes. Yes. **** Yes!
This on's way better.
Personally I prefer the original.
I have to ask. If tech like that exist, then why use a sword?
Damn.
I need to buy a PS3 ASAP.
@Ginkgo Because it's bad ass?
@Swiket Love it!
Just for confirmation - I DL the demo from Japan to here in the US and it DL adn installed OK but wouldn't' load due to the aforementioned Region Lock.
On the bright side I found a demo for EX Troopers, which was all in Japanese but I managed to get thru the demo ok. Well up until the end when I let my teammate die. Too bad thg ame isnt' releasing in the west.
I like the NA boxart best, can't wait to play this game!
@Swiket - Now that's what I'm talkin 'bout!
That box art is much better, but Swiket's box art is effing bada**!
