Buy a cheap series s and preserve as much ps1 and ps2 classics as you like.
Provided you own the original media and are making a legitimate backup for preservation purposes ....ahem.

@ROTTIEMAN16 Production times are just too long now for AAA titles because people expect more, tbh ive seen more innovation in the indie scene than any 1st party title over the last few years on any platform so i dont actively seek or care what tbe 1st parties are up to. Also i never read about PC gamers complaining about having nothing to play that justifies their £2000 machine. They seem just as happy playing indies as big titles, maybe its console players sense of expectation and entitlement that needs to change.

@gaston It totally is impatience, no one has it anymore, just look at xbox and the rush to throw out crap first party titles to the market.
Anyway VR is and always will be a niche market, sorry if that hurts but it is common knowledge by now.

@Ravix Cheers for reply bud, i did enjoy the max payne games, especially 3, haven't tried Control yet though. I dunno if its cos im getting older i just cant be assed with lengthy narrative in games anymore so i fear i may fall out of love with Sony 1st party Films (sorry games) and anything else story heavy, i think im slowly going back to retro gaming, simpler times from my youth lol

I still think there may be slight improvements on the inside of the console, possibly quieter, less coil whine, improved thermals etc once the console is out in the open and the youtube vids start appearing.

Was going to get this but figured there would be more resale value for my og ps5 if a pro arrives.

@Porco You are aware that there was a global pandemic and a chip shortage right? Games also take longer to make now much like movies. I'd say Sony are in a far better place with exclusives than MS are.

I know itll probably never happen but would love to see the psp's ea sports big titles added.

@The_Pixel_King You're absolutely right, ive sometimes thought id installed 2 diff versions of a game due to the home screen tile art and the "collection" tile art and yes the collection art looks better.

My updates for any particular game only seem to start after i start the game or after restoring database, hope this fixes that.

@Mikey856 Love Driveclub, i still have'nt seen better weather effects in any driving game since. Also has to be the only 30fps racer that has the most immense sense of speed in a game ive ever experienced.

@LifeGirl Good choice, i bought the P3i's recently and really impressed with the sound given the price 👍so i went and bought some soundcore full back headphones too for the ps5.

Definitely an 8, sword fighting is a bit poor but i suppose it encourages stealth more.
