I'm fairly certain, regardless of those reports, that the PS6 will not be a 2027 console. Its at least late 2028 or 2029 console.
If you need evidence of this, check out the talk between Mark Cerny and AMD talk. He very specifically says the tech they are looking at are still in "a simulation". No shot they can get a simulation to hardware within 2 years.
So let me get this right, people here are rooting for tencent purely because they don't like Sony because Aloy is "not f-able" and they don't like her. Like how did we get here where the character needs to follow a specific look? If you don't like the character or think the game has some agenda or idea you don't agree with, its very simple, vote with your wallet. Don't buy the game.
Everyone, including tencent knows this is a beyond just being "inspired" by the game. To a degree I wouldn't have had problems with it if this was done as an actual inspiration. However its very clear that this came about after Sony said no to their partnership.
This is just a shift in the Chinese companies approach. They don't want money to leave china. They want money to go into China only. Tencent is doing the same, look at Sumo for example. It's a rough time all around, hoping it gets somewhat better.
