Sell the single player campaigns separately and have one collected multiplayer component that goes big on the seasons and GaaS model (as much as I dislike games as a service).

This is giving me Legend of the River King vibes, and I'm all for it.

I loved the first one so I'm looking forward to this.

Activision is scared. I would be too if I had just been bought by MS, MS is not exactly known for keeping brands and studios alive.

After how Naughty Dog treated Amy Henning and then handled TLOU2 I just don't have the confidence in them to deliver.

A Bethesda shooter without VATS is just tedious.

The entire internet is PVP, doing this won't make Ubisoft immune to criticism. But I can almost guarantee this will be used to silence opinions that don't actually harass any individual.

I have fairly liberal friends who were turned off by the game's heavy messaging. The fatigue is real and not listening to customers when they vote with their wallets is just asking for more trouble.

I'd love to see the sales of Horizon when you strip away all the pack-in free copies that were given away with hardware purchases.

After Starfield they can keep TES6, doubly so if it comes out on the Creation Engine.

From the company that ripped off Warhammer to get their big break that's a bit rich.

Shorter games, smaller budgets, (somewhat) lower production values, modest price tag. AAA budgets are killing the industry.

Real world conflict and real world governments are always going to make it messy when it comes to portraying them in fictional entertainment, especially when it's sensationalised like it is in COD.
I hope the subject matter is treated fairly and with a delicate hand, and not just war schlock for the sake of shock value.

I won't be spending the money to upgrade though. Sony will have to earn it.
I get the feeling MS will launch their next console first and the Pro might be held back as a stalling tactic for such a scenario. MS will be desperate for this gen to be over as they're coming in third by a wide margin.

For all their "inclusivity and sensitivity" they sure managed to mess things up in a major way. Repeatedly.

This is the era of Tomb Raider I grew up with, and IMO the best incarnation of Lara when she was a pulp adventure heroine.

I don't understand why these people can't just make something new instead of bastardising an existing IP to shoe horn in their "quirky" characters and aesthetic where is obviously doesn't fit.
Oh wait, yes I do, because they're creatively bankrupt and can only corrupt that which already exists without making anything new themselves.

This pursuit of graphical fidelity has been a complete travesty. Some games benefit. I'd argue 90% of good games would still be good if they had a low-poly bilinear texture look to them but ran at 4k 60fps.
Stop chasing that dragon and go for art direction over realism. Realistic graphics will always fall short, whereas timeless ART DIRECTION WILL REMAIN TIMELESS.

Can't wait for their next product "Sales Low Financial Disappointment".

After the laggy demo and now the censoring of the outfits in the day one patch I think I will pass.

It's cheaper to hire new blood than to pay more for experienced talent.

Ubisoft saves me money all the time with their brilliant business moves.
And Disney saved me so much money as an adult. I spent thousands of dollars on Star Wars as a kid. Since I watched The Last Jedi I haven't spent a cent. Thanks Disney!

Really interested in this game now. I might finally cave in and buy it when the Castlevania DLC releases.
