Can i use PSN credit to pay for ps+ subscription? I was hoping for a reduction on the basic, but its not available. Rather than spending £60 on basic for online play (which is ridiculous) for £10 more i can get Premium (if using shop.to vouchers).
After checking the sales figures (some are estimates) I think this is lazy journalism. All the games mentioned in the article sold significantly less than their predecessors regardless of platform.
I own two PS5s. One in the study, mainly used for PSVR2. Another in the front room on the big telly. I'll be selling the one in the front room and replacing with the Steam machine. Mainly due to the savings made on PlayStation Plus and it's so much cheaper to buy games for Steam, especially when using third party sites. Hopefully, it will force Sony to rethink PlayStation Plus, which needs an even lower tier for online gaming with no 'free' games.
@Monstermash40 if you get basic at 33 % off and top up your account using cheaper ps store credit ( I use shop.to) you save a further 12%, or thereabouts. If you pay the reduced cost store credit using PayPal and spread the cost for 3 months, you effectively get a year for around the amount you would pay for 3 months.
This is such a great game and easily worth full price. I would love to get it again, but unfortunately there is no cross save between PS5 and Steam. If they ever update it for proper cross save, I'll double dip.
I played it on PC and its okay. I would score it 6.8. Its not quite a 7. I suggest waiting for a sale if you don't have cash to burn. And good luck with Gina.
The fact it’s a few years old means you get more content than Xbox and PC at launch. It’s a fantastic game. I still play daily on PC. Online racing is still rammed. If there was cross save with the steam version I would probably double dip to play on my OLED TV.
I completed Odyssey. Loved that game. I stopped playing Valhalla after about 40 hours. I tried Mirage, and lasted about 15 hours. So AC for me is no longer engaging me. So, I'm out on this one.
I wouldn’t want to spend £10 to upgrade even if the ups path was available for plus subscribers as you’ll lose access to the game either way if you choose to end subscription.
I’m surprised they didn’t go with the classic Henry’s Cat ending of ‘it was all a dream’. Having just played through all 4 Arkham games for the very first time on PC (why the hate on Origins, it was great), I do hope they expand on another Batman single player game.
Is anyone excited about Ass Creed Shadows? I've lost interest in the franchise. While I completed Odyssey, I gave up on Valhalla and Mirage. They feel the same game with a different skin and I don't expect that to change.
I've been playing through the Arkham games for the first time on my PC. I've loved all of them and I'm halfway through Arkham Knight. I'm in awe of the developer, so hugely disappointed with how Suicide Squad ended out being. I wonder what happened to Rock Steady? I hope they can survive this and perhpas make another Batman game. There is room for the games to grow even further.
I would like to give a huge thanks to PS5 Pro early adopters to being the beta testers needed, before we splash the cash, or wait for the tech to be refined for PS6. Thank you.
I played this on PC. It was fun, but I must admit that The Crew Motorfest is better. The handling is better, the variety is better. And I'm not generally into Ubisoft games. But credit where credit is due.
It's a fun game. It's true in that the worst you perform, the funnier it gets. Also, I believe its 120 fps native (not reprojected) and very comfortable to play.
I actually use my PSVR2 headset most days, so getting value from it. I also have a backlog of games. So games are there and we do have some good games to look forward to. We do however need Sony to confirm more first party games, like AstroBot.
I’m get so much use out of my PSVR2 headset. Looking forward to some great games coming this year. People like to give the PSVR2 bad press. I don’t think all the negativity helps take up. There are so many great games. It is a lot of money though. I think if they could sell it for less. The £350 mark, then it will take off much more especially when PC support kicks. And we need Astro bot.
No Man’s Sky and some rhythm games on PSVR2. I’ll break that up with Rocket League. I might start dead space or Hi-Fi Rush as I picked them up cheap at Christmas.

Re: Sony Estimated to Have Made $1.5 Billion from Steam, But the Novelty Is Wearing Off
I asked Grok and HFW sold 8.4 million while ZD sold 24.3, so steam sales are just reflecting the trend on playstation.
Re: Valve's Steam Machine May Not Be As Affordable As a PS5
@tameshiyaku I disagree. I think people will be willing to spend $650 for it and still consider it a good deal.

I’ll just wait till next gen or PC. Not a biggee, but I won’t play at 30 fps. I might at 40 fps.
Re: Would You Pay $100 for GTA 6?
Not for a 30fps game. I’ll probably wait to PS6 and play in 60fps.
