They talk about a "new online experience" . I really liked the way I could just go online with my group of friends in Redemption 1 and not have to worry about trolls joining the group . I hope that we can still have private free roam .

First I will start by saying that I liked this demo and it will be really fun with VR . I also know that this is only a demo and the new game may be totally different when it comes out but I have to agree with others on here about this being a Silent Hill game or PT knock off . It is definitely NOT the Resident Evil that we know . I will get this game for what it is . Horror game with jump scares but if this is all that there is to the finished game than it probably shouldn't be a numbered Resident Evil game in the series . It should just be a straight reboot or a side story . Again , I know it is only a demo but there really aren't any puzzles yet that people were hoping for just a lot of backtracking for keys and items . Looks like the inspiration came from PT and the SAW movies. Doesn't really need to have the Resident Evil name attached to it except to boost sales . I hope I am wrong and this is a very short demo so I know we haven't seen the full story or potential yet . Time will tell . In any case I will get this game .

I loved the first two . I can't wait for this . It feels like a very long time since I have finished the last one .

@dryrain Stampede was the very first video game that I owned . Very early 80's when my parents bought us an Atari 2600 for Christmas. We got the packed in Combat and Pac Man and my parents also got us Haunted House . These were considered the family's games . Then they bought my sister and 2 brothers their own games and Got me Stampede . I fell in love with gaming instantly at that point . I still have that Atari and all of our games in my basement right now and it is set up for my kids to play them . I also have my original NES and all of the games down there along with my ps1 . Unfortunately at one point we really needed money and I sold my Genesis , Super NES and original X-box and their games . Wish I had them back . Upstairs we have our Wii , Wii U , PS3 and PS4 hooked up . My son and I love our games .
My next project will be to build a MAME cabinet . But I need to get back to work and make some money soon . Have been laid off for nearly 9 months now .

@Wazeddie22 This will be a multiplayer game . 1 player will be Jason and the rest will be camp counselors . If they get enough backers they will add a single player mode . Tom Savini and Kane Hodder ( Jason ) are involved , so it really should capture the feel of the movies !!!!

Was really hoping that if the PS4K turned out to be a reality that it would also come with UHD disc player installed . I guess that would bump the price up a bit higher though . I have been happy with my ps4 since the start , so no reason for me to upgrade . I have owned a 4k tv for about 15 months now so a UHD disc player probably would have made me make the leap .

@Pinkman Right ?! And by the time the upgraded version comes out It will just be another 2 or 3 years until the next one is out ( ps5 ) . So might as well wait for it . Except that 3 years after that ps5.5 will be out . I will wait for that , But if I wait just a few more years after that then ps6 will be out .... This really might change everything and chase console owners to PC .

Absolutely love Red Dead Redemption. Been searching the internet for years to hear something like this . Can't wait . Swimming should definitely be welcome and so would canoes , but most of the islands look like there are roadways to them , so probably just bridges again . Looks like the only Island that doesn't have a road to it but still has a point of interest is the one with a penitentiary in it . It may be that your game starts here and there is no way back to it once you leave ? Or maybe there is a ferryboat to it for fast travel ? Time will tell . And Sammy , if there is swimming be prepared to tap that x button to swim faster !!!!

When I bought my kids a WiiU a little over 2 years ago I bought a bundle deal from Wal-Mart . It came with Super Mario Bros U , Super Luigi Bros U a pro controller and Zombie U . I love zombie games. , but for whatever reason none of us have played Zombie U yet . I will download it for ps4 . Why not . Maybe I will actually play it AND we won't have to walk 3 feet to put in a disc with it on the hard drive . HAHA . Haven't looked up the ps4 version . Can you use the ps vita as your second screen like the Wii U uses the game pad ?

Feels like we have been waiting forever . Absolutely loved the Red Dead Redemption. The single player story was great and the online with buddies was outstanding !!!! Doing missions with pals and red dead nightmare . Such a fun time . The challenges were great . Sometimes we still go on the ol' ps3 to play red dead just to steal some wagons and buggies and drive them off of the highest cliffs or to throw some dynamite at each other to pass the time . The ps3 doesn't get turned on as often as it use to now that my brother and I are co-oping it up on the ps4 but we will always return to red dead redemption. Unless we see a related for the ps4 that is .

I would like to see The Warriors come to PS4 . I missed it the first time around on PS2 . I have been a huge fan of the movie since I was a kid in the 80's .

We usually just use our tv in the living room for everything . Directv , Wii , Wii U , ps3 and ps4 . When I upgraded to a 4k tv just over a year ago I moved my old hdtv to our bedroom . I didn't want to get an extra directv receiver for the bedroom because I knew that we would never use it . I started thinking that since we now had a tv upstairs I should have something connected to it . I bout a roku stick , built my own attic hdtv antenna and I bought a pstv. I already used my vita now and then to remote play the ps4 so why not ? I am ashamed to say that over a year later the only reason I have ever had it turned on was to set up my PS account and the Wi-Fi settings . Same thing with the roku . I still love the idea of having both of them up there and hopefully one day I will actually use them . I think that the pstv was a great idea and am sad to see the support go .

Hmmm . How about a new Star Wars Force Unleashed game for the PlayStation VR ? Would love to use the power of the dark side to destroy my living room !!!!

I really wish we could get a Luxoflux/Activison reboot of Vigilante 8 . I had a PS3 last gen . I understand there was one for the 360 that I missed .

An add-on that my kids have been screaming for will be out for PS4 this year too . Don't Starve Together . I am looking forward to it as well .

I guess I won't have to worry too much this year . No PS4 games for the old man . I got my kids Yoshi's Wooly World and Mario Maker for the Wii U . I actually think I am looking forward to Mario Maker as much as my son is . I may squeeze some Zombie Army Trilogy in with my brother on the weekend. As long as PSN is up and running . I was originally thinking about getting the Nyko data bank and upgrading to 4 or 6TB , but I hear that the ps4 doesn't support higher than 2TB . Any word on them supporting higher in the future . I like to have all of my digital games at the ready . I have had my ps4 for 2 years and the 500gb has been filled and refilled a lot of times already . Also here is something totally unrelated that I just saw today . Interesting . Anyone have anymore info about it ?

Forget the corn , I want the tree !!!!

I bought an HDTV just before 3d tv's became popular so when they started hitting the mainstream I couldn't justify buying another tv for thousands of dollars . I always have enjoyed 3d though . Finally about a year ago I picked up an LG 55" 4k 3dtv. Unfortunately the push for 3d was pretty much over . I really enjoy 3d blu ray movies on it . Such an amazing 3d experience compared to 1080p 3dtvs that I have watched . But the 3d games push was over too quickly as far as I am concerned . They didn't give people enough time to to invest in the tech in my opinion . I totally understand that it is not for everyone and was considered gimmicky by a lot of people just to try to get people to spend more money , but for someone , such as myself , that fully enjoys it I didn't consider it to be a gimmick at all . I am able to go back to my ps3 library and replay some of those games such as Uncharted 3 and Arkham City in 3d but I really wish that there was new content . I am fortunate enough to own both Sniper Elite 3 and Zombie Army Trilogy on my ps4 and I really like to play them in 3d mode . I probably will purchase Trine 2 and 3 for my ps4 . Not just for the 3d content , but it certainly is a big selling point for me .

Kinda figured this would happen . I haven't even played anything on the ps4 for a month . Tried to get on with friends today and BAM !!!! .... nothing .
