Re: Oblivion Remastered Out Now on PS5, Price and Download Size Revealed

@Lysterao they haven’t been competing with Sony since 2011. PS now has the mostly ‘high end quality game console market’ to itself and Nintendo now has its area of the business to itself. And how gamepass can possibly be sustainable without releasing the games on PS I don’t know. I tried to explain this to a mate who doesn’t understand why Xbox are releasing games on PS these days. It’s simple, they are recouping the costs of what gamepass is costing them. I read somewhere this morning for every £1:00 gamepass makes it loses £0.50 in costs. That’s horrific numbers. Phil would never admit to that though obvs but I guess it means more games for PlayStation gamers right so win for us at least

@SMJ because they happened to have brought out a shed load of studios lol. And you know exactly what happened with Sony, they chased the live service dragon to the detriment of SP games. But let’s be real about 2024/25, FF7 Rebirth/Death stranding 2/Astro bot/Helldivers2/Ghost Of Yotie/Stellar blade/Rise of the Ronin/Pacific drive/Silent hill 2….theres probably more 🤷‍♂️. If you don’t like these games it’s not their fault lol

@GirlVersusGame can’t agree with you more honestly. It’s a travesty that people even feel the need to create this stuff let alone sell it on a platform open to all ages and also very easily led minds!. I don’t know if you heard the recent furore about a game that’s available on Steam last week, I don’t know if it still is but it made the news on LBC and I was shocked. This game is nowhere near that level of grotesque but still just the name conjures up things I wouldn’t want children seeing. Luckily my eldest is still of an age where she wouldn’t really know what it even is but I’m sure a lot of parents (who are quite lax, and I know plenty) won’t ever bother looking at parental controls and will have kids who are of an age that’ll know exactly what it is. I’m praying this sort of content is not allowed to be sold on there for much longer.

@EfYI I’ve just 100% trophies on this. The base game is tremendously good! But mate Valhalla is probably the best DLC I’ve ever played (only possible exception is The Old Hunters on BB).. And considering it’s available to all on plus I think anyone yet to play this needs too! You don’t even need to play the base game as no stats carry over or anything. Fantastic game and free add on. 11/10!
