I’m reckoning on £70 they don’t need to sell this game for £100 as it’s going to sell at least 150 million copies probs double that. And Sony will make a fortune off the tens of millions of consoles they will sell off the back of it too. I’d even expect a boost for the bedraggled Xbox consoles too

All I’m hoping for is a return to GTAIV physics. It was sublime for an open world game. But I won’t hold my breath after they went back to the arcade physics in GTAV. I guess most people don’t care about that though

@JustinTimberlake I’m sure the generation has turned out completely different to the way MS saw it in their heads 3-4 years ago. None of these games we’re seeing them publish would have been on PS if people had actually brought an Xbox. I’m very aware of how business works thanks. And yes PlayStation has dominated the market for the right reasons. Shrewd buyouts at shrewd times of developers who had already been making third party exclusives for the platform for years. Simple business really. Not buying out a ton of devs in 2-3 years lol. That’s a monopoly

@Decimateh-xblz if you’re taking about the MS account requirement as far as I can see it locks you to playing with ps gamers when I’d prefer the whole cross play thing. I’d love to kick some Xbox butt on it 😜. I actually like cross play. Except for with the PC modded/cheaters ofc

@Cornpop76 your missing the obvious point though. If gamepass was making a load of money would ms be releasing games on ps . And from the numbers I’ve seen for every £1 gamepass makes it costs are £.50p that’s not healthy numbers mate. So as far as I can see Sony would be stupid to put day 1 games on ps and do they even need too anyway when the vast majority of sales devs get seem to be on the platform. You’re just barking up the wrong tree like ms. And you’re clearly missing out on some amazing games if that’s all you’ve brought .

I’m in no doubt this will be a fantastic sequel. Sucker punch are one of the top dev teams around who don't rest on their laurels. Can’t wait! PS has no games!

@Cornpop76 no you say you played shadows via a sub? I’m assuming a sub like gamepass? I paid then £70 notes of cold hard cash as the devs deserve it for the work. It’s a fantastic game and I will be getting my moneys worth. Day one releases on sub services is completely unsustainable sny fool should know that but they keep lording it like it’s brillaint . It’s tragic and won’t end well

I’ll be getting the bog standard version as always. And I’ll probs get it cheaper due to buying physical

Old titles that don’t sell loads of copies anymore and gives rhem a bit more life is fine not brand new games. You’d have to be an absolute fool to think that is sustainable

@SMJ but loads of people hate PC’s. They are absolutely ghastly . I had a steam deck which is as close as I’ve ever come it was utter rubbish. Had to wait for updates every time I switched the damn thing on. Horrible experience. Consoles all day

Lots of people prefer to own a physical item to show something for the money you pay. Why the hell aren’t digital games cheaper than physical too! Just an absolute rip off, and what will you do when PSN inevitably goes down again? And you can’t renew your licences for single player games for whatever stupid reason 🤷‍♂️. Don’t get these issues with discs as far as I’m aware

@Dr-M now that’s my bag for platinum runs! I love doing the entire series of games!. It’s what I did on my old profiles. And I want to do it on my new one but the problem is so many good games keep coming out I’m finding it hard to keep going back to old generation games lol. I do plan on similar though. Like I’d love to do both Horizon games (again lol) and considering HZD has had the unreal remaster and HFW looks as good as it does on the PRO I’m tempted to start with those. And well God Of War is just insanely good I’ve recently got 100% on Ragnarok and on the PRO it looks like a high end PC game. It’s utterly brillaint as a game aswell one of my favourites of this gen👍. What are you llooking at for your future runs? I’m currently on Shadows and Snowrunner which sucked me back in due to being mad for a decent simulator 😆. You know what I’ve never played a single Mass Effect game and I believe I may be missing out there 🤦‍♂️

@Lysterao tbf PS tend to buy a studio after a decade of releasing third party exclusives on the platform. Not buying out studios that have essentially released multi platform games their entire existence. Who’s next for MS, EA? UBI?

Buying out developers and letting their ( what would have mostly been multi platform games anyway ) save you.
