Re: Opinion: God of War: Sons of Sparta Is the Smaller PS5 Game Fans Want, and I Hope We See More

Pigrotto

thanks for the article: I agree with it, I would love to see more little and middle budget games from Sony; even just as a form of experimentation for try new ideas to later introduce into big budget games.
also it could be nice to keep some franchise alive, perhaps exploring some less known aspects.

at the same time I have a problem with the industry as a whole at the moment: there are too many games on the market, not every month, mind you, but every week! and I'm talking about indie titles of valour.

I began to develop a form of Fear Of Missing Out: there is literally too much to play and I'm unable to choose. furthermore if I'm playing a game I don't like much I immediately quit, because there are hundreds of titles that are pushing for my attention.
this is not good in my opinion: when I was younger I suspect we had less entries but more meaningful (for many reasons).

sorry if all of this looks like an old man vent, yet it describes my situation.

@GamingGod
hi!
I'm playing Hell is Us on Performance Mode (NOT Quality) and in my opinion the frame rate is high and stable (I may say locked at 60fps).
also the aesthetics on a PRO are enhanced (I checked some online comparison).
my experience so far is pretty good and I genuinely like the game.

anyway please keep in mind my setup is peculiar:
I play on a 27" LG UltraGear monitor at 1080p (so NOT 1440p or 4K).
my setup is similar to a PC gaming one.

I hope I helped!
have a great week end.

Good morning everyone 🙂

I'm playing with great satisfaction Hell is Us on my Pro.
I suggest this game to every fellow gamers, even considering the problems Nacon (the publisher) is facing.
The Deluxe Edition is on sale on the European PSstore at the moment.

I wish you all a weekend full of games and serenity 💙

Re: Opinion: I Wonder if Xbox Helix Will Force Sony to Break Its PS6 Silence

Pigrotto

I have a PS5pro and I'm really enjoying it;
but to be honest I have not clue when Sony will unveil the PS6.

said that I wish the best of luck to "Xbox Helix" because a healthy competition is good for the business, in my opinion.

I owned a Xbox Series X, now gifted to my nephew, and for me was a very fine console, however we know how things are going: at the moment almost every MS game is on PlayStation, so...

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Think of the PS5 Pro, Six Months Later?

Pigrotto

hello.
I have a PS5pro bought after launch.
I paid for it a bit less than the suggested retail price on Amazon.
I live in Italy.

I'm satisfied by the console however I think the price is a bit too high, in my opinion.
I know, considering the recent trend, it is only going to rise, still it is not optimal.

I buy digital games since the end of the Xbox360 era when this option was made available, so I don't mind the lack of optical disk, although I'm aware this decision really hurts some players.

I didn't not expect a more powerful console of what it is, just a little cheaper.

I really appreciate the 2TB SSD.

please keep in mind it is more noisy than the Xbox Series X as the base PS5 model already is.

if videogaming is your primary or only hobby, and you have te resources, I suggest to invest on the PS5pro because at the moment it is the most powerful console on the market, plus MS is bringing its entire catalogue on Sony hardware.

if you are a PC gamer than is another thing.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Summer Gaming Habits?

Pigrotto

I'm Italian and this summer so far has been very hot.
for this reason it may sound strange but I have more free time but I play less due to the heat: I just lay on the bed in front of a fan.

I hope August will be a bit more bearable here... so I could play more.
