@Stale-Bread It will be interesting to see how powerful Helix will be and what the pricepoint is. It's going to have to be nigh on high spec PC equivalent to persuade PC gamers to swap. Gaming PCs are very expensive and you have to upgrade etc. I'd much prefer to play on a console than PC. I think the Xbox execs are trying what they can to drag Xbox out of the mire. Renewing console wars is just a tactic. PS will always sell well regardless.

@Flaming_Kaiser True. Nothing new. I'd love to be able to play all games on the same platform but I'll be pushing up daisies before that happens.

Great news. A Deadly Shadows remaster would be even better.

@Lanmanna Ratchet & Clank for the humour. Spiderman 2 because of the characters. I did enjoy Spiderman a few years ago. Tastes change with age don't they.

@Bez87 Well pulling back exclusives is going to have to be one of the ways forward for Xbox. They need to be far more aggressive. Keeping Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout exclusive should be options, as well as Diablo. If it was me, I'd also pull Forza Horizon 6. I'd also pull a Halo 2 & 3 remake now that PS owners will get a taste of Halo. I'm just trying to be positive about the situation which I know is difficult to believe in these barren times. I'm an older gamer and for me it would be great for Xbox to succeed with Helix because it would open up more options for my tastes. I only have a PS these days so I can play Nioh. I tried playing Spiderman 2 and Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart and I just felt old. The pricing for Helix will be an issue and it won't be a good selling point, especially for younger gamers.

@RBMango Well there's alot of anti-Xbox comments on these threads but I think these people are forgetting that Xbox has ES6 up it's sleeve. I agree with you. They probably should make it an exclusive. They've given Sony an easy ride and ES6 probably would sell consoles. Fallout should probably be added to that too.

@Bez87 Project Helix could possibly provide a turnaround, not the exclusives. If it lives up to it's promise, it's going to be a serious piece of hardware. If Xbox was so dead and buried, why is this comments thread already substantial? Granted, with Xbox's performance in recent times, it could also go arse up. I'm not sure you can make an assessment until the hardware has actually been released. I prefer the Series X to my PS5. It's an excellent console that's been let down by it's creator.

@Stevey_Mac I think they are trying to evoke the spirit of the 360 era. If Project Helix can appeal to PC gamers, they might just have a recipe for success. Then again, they might not.

@UltimateOtaku91 Gamepass is also on PC so unlikely they wouldn't publish it on PC especially as Project Helix is a console/PC hybrid.

Well Sony made a cynical preemptive move to stop publishing on PC in anticipation of Project Helix, so Xbox is rightly moving to reassert exclusivity. I think it's a shame for gamers but it's a business reality. Sony exclusives are decent but if it came down to a choice I'd choose Halo, Gears of War & Forza over Ragnarok, Uncharted & GT7 any day of the week. Asha Sharma might just return the Xbox brand to a good place once again. They should pull the plug on FH6 to display real defiance. Pushsquare would be denied the opportunity to apply the Xbox tax to their review score at least😊

I haven't got a PS5 Pro.... But I will be playing it with 60 fps on May 15th. Woop woop!!😊

@Quintumply After death, are you able to keep a weapon or are you returned to your original weapon? I did like Returnal but I got fed up with starting out with a peashooter after I died so I gave up.

I'm sure many gamers won't be sad that COD isn't Day One. I'm perfectly happy to wait to play their mediocre campaigns for a year, although Black Ops 6 had a fantastic campaign. I'm much more interested in FH6, Halo, Doom and GOW anyway. FH6 is going to he the big pull next month. Hopefully Loaded will reduce their costs for a 12 month subscription again which will make Gamepass even cheaper.

I'm not sure what to think about PS Plus. Premium isn't great. Most of the old games aren't great any more. Some virtually unplayable. Proper remasters or remakes are much better and streaming is generally below par. There are decent games on PS Plus but it doesn't have the Day One gravitas that Gamepass has. Unless I can get PS Plus on offer, I doubt I'll renew.

@Th3solution You'll definitely love ER if you love DS. Hopefully we'll get a DS that uses the special moves and summons that are in ER. There are also several QOL improvements in ER that are a bonus. If push came to shove, I'd probably choose the DS format over ER however.

Has anyone played Lords of the Fallen on PS5? I tried playing the updated version on Xbox Series X but it still had poor performance issues in regards to stuttering. Does the PS5 version suffer from the same fate?

I'm very late to the party here but my advice to anybody who only plays single player is to not bother with GT7. For some baffling reason, PD chose to persist with rolling starts rather than normal standing starts (like virtually all other racing games) and participants aren't even close together. It is not really racing against AI that is equal to or faster than you. It is more an arcade challenge of fighting your way through traffic and more of a time trial. Very disappointing and a waste of money if you only play single player.

I don't think Xbox will be taking on PS6, especially as it will be releasing on it. The new hardware will be aiming for a niche market. I for one am looking forward to a powerful console/PC hybrid which will potentially allow me to play PS games, Xbox games and previously inaccessible PC games (if it ever even happens!).

@KilloWertz Well I think you can aim down the sights as well as sprint in the remake so hopefully Halo Studios haven't dropped the ball and it's modernised effectively. Fingers crossed.

@OldGamer999 Looks like we might be able to play PS games on a quasi-Xbox in a couple of years (for £800 to £1200!!!)

@RoomWithaMoose I agree with that order except Halo 2. Seems like you have a bit of Dark Souls 2 syndrome! Because the first one was so good you were disappointed with the sequel. Landing on Halo for the first time in CE is definitely one of my best gaming memories. Let's hope Halo Studios have nailed the remake. I'm definitely inspired to play the entire series through before it comes out.

@KilloWertz Well it seems that changes hve been made. Sprint for example and they've included weapons from the sequels. MGS 3 has prospered with a refresh. No reason why Halo can't do the same. It sounds like Halo just hasn't grabbed you. I'm the same with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Really can't see what the fuss is about. If a game isn't for you, it isn't for you.

@RoomWithaMoose I have to disagree with you there. In Halo 2 you get to play as an elite and visit Covenant environments more extensively. It felt even more epic. Each to their own though. Luckily all of the installments up to Halo Reach were excellent and 4,5 & Infinite are also very good but never reached the heights of Bungie's efforts. It will be very interesting to see how PS players embrace Halo: CE.

Well having played all of the Halos since day one, this looks amazing. I hope it's a success because it might mean they remake Halo 2 which was the best one for me. Halo really has got it's own unique atmosphere, the music is exceptional and the gunplay really is second to none.

@Dogbreath I disagree with you there. Halo is the reason I still buy Xbox. But if it gets released on PS, I guess that becomes a moot point. I hope it does get released on PS. The more players that get to experience Halo, the better.

@LazyDaisy I'm thinking this way too. I have had PS & Xbox since the PS3 but the only PS exclusives I really want to play are the Nioh games these days and they are on PC. It would be fantastic if I could play some PC games not currently available on console too. I spent £800 on a XSX & PS5 so a premium price isn't too offputting. I would want the option of a decent extended warranty like MS has offered on Xbox through the years though. Best start saving!

@PuppetMaster Blimey. You are quite emotional about it. You've chosen one PS exclusive which I haven't even heard of. And hasn't NG got the same status as Tekken as a 'classic'? A remade NG2 Black got 6/10 forgodsake. Team Xbox are equally myopic. The IGN video review is the best I've seen. A true fan of the series. He gave it an 8. Even stringent reviewers such as Metro and Eurogamer gave it an 8. Most outlets have given it an 8. I'm currently near the end of a playthrough of NG Black. NG4 has certainly improved the combat mechanics. 7 is very average for me. And the Xbox games you've listed.... I've played them all.... Like I said, add 1😉

Backwards compatible PS1 Tekken scored 9/10😄.... Basically for Pushsquare reviews you need to add 1 point for anything Xbox related and minus 1 point for anything that is a Playstation exclusive to get the true score.
