Im 100% sure I’ll notice a difference in person.

I play on a high quality OLED, and I notice even minor issues with presentation and other displays. I always get the urge to fix people’s setups when I visit them. I don’t ever mention it though. I’m okay if they are happy living in ignorance.

I’m guilty of it but I may have a reason for it that most likely don’t, my work schedule.

I have a crazy work schedule.

I would NOT do this for 99% of games, but there was a game in the past year that if I got it early, I actually got to play it on my days off before my upcoming 8 day work stretch. So I did, but, I still have to really want a game badly for me to do this.

@NEStalgia Yup, if all these companies manufactured according to demand for these types of items, It would kill scalpers.

@Now-Let-Me-Say01 That’s exactly what I did. In the tip menu, wherever it appears, it even tells you to spam long distance attacks on it.
I thought nothing of it, beat it on my first try.

This is easily one of the best Ubisoft and Star Wars games I’ve played.

I bought it with low expectations and have been very pleased with it.

Granted, I’m from the US, but I’m surprised to see so many people dislike the pro when they could do what I’m gonna do.

I’m getting one, but I’m gonna sell my PS five to go towards it. I guarantee that I’ll get at least $400 for it selling it online And I’m cool with having to spend $400 to get the newest upgraded piece of tech.

I missed whatever drama there was around Star Wars outlaws, but I bought it and it’s easily the best ubisoft game I’ve played in years.

PlayStation sure as hell isn’t for those of us that have been fans for years anymore.

I hope it fails to make a profit.

Well, it really seems to me that they’re going to be screwed overall because most games don’t sell well on Xbox either and that newest Final Fantasy that’s on steam isn’t selling well so even if they release their games all platforms day 1 they’re not gonna hit or exceed their expected sales numbers.

@Snackfood I plan on buying a pro and selling my PS5 after it arrives. I have a PS4 that I could sell as well. I’m not sure yet.

I know I’ll get at least $400 for that PS5, So I only had to put in $400 more for the best product available, which I’m cool with.

@Max_the_German Different engines, different people with different levels of skill, and basically a corridor shooter versus a semi-open world game all factor into the quality of a product.

Look at the flower to her right and notice how blurry it is, and then cycle through the pics to notice the improvement.

Do the same with her hair on the left side.

Do the same with the trees on the cliff in the far background while also noticing how the grey fogginess is reduced while the object is also becoming sharper.

That’s a big deal to me.

The fogginess and blurriness I see in a lot of games really annoys me.

I’m already sold on a PS5 Pro just from the few examples I’ve seen and I imagine it’s gonna be so much better in person.

Granted, I’m very aware that the vast majority probably doesn’t even notice the differences But they’ve always stood out to me.

The full game was $70 and you got a story, 20+ characters and the rest of the content.

This is $50 and you get a story expansion with questionable length and 6 characters.

Thats a hard sell for me, though the free animalities does make me want to give it a little leeway.

Still, I doubt I’m gonna be buying at full price.

I think that’s a fantastic piece of news and great for the outlook of the potential of games in general on the PS5 Pro.

I look forward to getting one. I’m going to sell my PS five a week before it releases and I may sell a PS4 that I have that is gathering dust.

So I won’t have to invest much to get one. I’m ready to go.

I’ve got mine ordered.

I plan to preorder the Pro day 1.

Then a week before it releases I’m going to sell my PS5 and maybe my PS4 that’s never used to go towards it.

So, I won’t have to invest much to get it. I’m good to go.

I had one last run with it late last night.

It may come down to where I live in the US, but from day one I never had an issue finding matches and it took 99% of them less than 30 seconds to find.

As always, I had a good time.

This game didn’t deserve the hate it got. The hate this game gets from incels and bigots on Twitter is pretty disgusting.

Everybody’s too busy celebrating the death of Concord.

I don’t know why that would matter. I’m sure the internal dialogue for Concord was pretty positive and then when the gamers see it, you know the hate they carried for Concord could easily pass on to that game.

Hell, gamers had a lot of hate for hell divers 2 up until it’s release.

Well, it’s nice I’m getting a refund, but this sucks. I’ve really enjoyed Concord.

There’s another loss for traditional games.

People will bitch about this game and then go spend 40$ on 2 costumes in Fortnite.

It’s a traditional game. You paid 40$ and you got everything.

The only thing Sony will learn from this are that nimrods prefer F2P titles with most of it’s content is locked away for 10-20$ a piece and it takes 100s of dollars to actually unlock it all. Don’t forget to buy the battle pass with a heavy dose of FOMO.

In the US, it typically takes 30 seconds for brawl. 1-2 minutes for the other.

F2P sure has warped gamers.

I guess the majority now love being nickel and dimed to death with having characters, costumes, gear pieces and other types of cosmetics all locked away along with have battle passes and season passes shoved down our throats with a health dose of FOMO because if you don’t unlock everything in your season pass, then you lose it.

Then, we have these damn people that will spend hundreds or thousands on MTX but lose their damn mind when a traditional COMPLETE game cost $40. It’s really disappointing seeing so many people will become warped.

The only lesson these big companies will learn from this is that gamers don’t want traditional games they want to be nickel and dime to death.

Why didn’t you mention the country he is in? It matters.

In the US, I’ve been able to find matches ranging from 10-30 seconds on average. I’ve had one, ONE! game that took a minute to find.

The hate boner gamers have with this game is crazy.

F2P has warped gamers.

I just don’t care about all the negativity people have directed towards this game.

I bought Concord today & my kids and I’ve really enjoyed it.

Surprisingly, on the PS5, every game has been found in less than 40 seconds. So, there are enough PS5 players for that to happen.

Just like the game Jedi Survivor, I planned on buying it day one but when you find out that the game is somewhat janky, I’ll wait for a sale and patches.

I want this game and would be happy to buy day one, But considering a large amount of games release somewhat unoptimized and then they patch it for months. I’ve quit buying many games day one.

The last game that comes to mind is Jedi Survivor. I was going to buy day one. They were going to get the full $70 but it was kind of janky and then I didn’t buy it for months.

If I see some proof that this game has solid performance throughout, then I’ll buy itthis week otherwise, I’ll get it sometime in the future.

As a longtime hardcore PlayStation fan I think it SUCKS!

And many more. I know that we still have many of these types of games, but they were just fresh back then.

My son and I were huge fans of the old Batman games and figured bare minimum, The suicide squad game would be worth it just for the story.

We just beat it today and it was very anticlimactic. I can’t imagine those that paid full price for this game. We waited for a sale and it still wasn’t worth it. It’s extremely disappointing.

30$ for most of those games is not a good deal considering how old they are.

I’m completely burned out on pure Souls games. If it’s a lite version of it, I’m fine.

I’m not a fan of these games being referred to as challenging when it just wants you to grind to boost numbers.

The newer God of War games are souls-lite, which I’m cool with but I vastly prefer the gameplay of older GoW, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Bayenetta, etc.

I just beat Flintlock which is a souls-lite, and it was fine, but I have zero interest in that new Elden Ring DLC for example.

Also, Sekiro is better than every Souls game Fromsoft has ever released.

The hate boner from gamers for Concord really is something.

Im not a fan of hero shooters, but I had a good time with Concord playing it with my kids.

This is just another game that is receiving unwarranted hate and will do badly due to the weirdness of gamers.

The blind hate this game has received reminds me of what happened to Days Gone.

Also when it comes to content, many F2P titles offer 2 costumes for 40$ and lock their characters away.

Concord offers 16 characters and then roughly 10 costumes, 5 gear, 5 accessories, 10 gun skins, 30 gun charms, however many maps and they say all future content is free for 40$.

F2P has warped gamers.

In my opinion, the micro transactions are too egregious in that game for me to want to invest into it.

@Tecinthebrain I despise that it’s an overly greedy GaaS.

I bought Street Fighter 6, MK1, and Tekken 8 day 1 and would have done the same for Multiversus if it wasn’t GaaS.

We’ve been told for years that It was hard to make a good profit from full price games at $60-$70, So it’s always seemed very apparent that offering all of your brand new games at a bargain bin price subscription service isn’t gonna work out well for a company.

I’m actually a GamePass Subscriber and it really annoys me That we’ve heard, Play it day one on game pass, when it sure doesn’t mean that anymore.

There’s people out there acting dense and pretending it does though.

I’m fine with GaaS as a whole, but people have supported too much greed. It’s insane to me that people ever bought cosmetics that are 20$ or higher.

It’s a horrible message, FULL games are 70$, but you’re willing to pay 20$ for cosmetics. That’s horrible. Cosmetics should be 8$ at the absolute most for premium content.

Are there cosmetics to unlock in the game?
This isn’t a F2P game, you are paying 40$.

If you only get the game, then it doesn’t sound like a good deal compared to Helldivers 2 or other F2P games.

Back when I had more free time I would tough it through a game. Now, I’ll play on Normal or hard until it annoys me and then I’ll turn down the difficulty and rush through the game.

Souls and souls-likes mostly bore more anymore.

Im glad I own a Series X, PS5, Switch and Steamdeck.

It’s nice not having to wait or beg for games.

I’m really looking forward to Astrobot, but that definitely won’t hold me over.

I have ZERO interest in Concord.
