@twitchtvpat Yeah, I'm a little worried Naughty Dog's basically going to become a Last of Us studio. We're seeing Guerrilla focusing almost solely on Horizon, but I hope we see more from these studios.
Don't want gaming studios to only work on one brand. It's why I hope The Coalition or 343 at Xbox have a crack at something else like Playground is now doing.
@pip_muzz Totally agree. Although to be fair to Rare, they recently brought Lucid Games on as a support studio for Sea of Thieves so they can shift more of their focus to their next project, Everwild.
Wouldn't have minded if MediaMolecule brought a support studio on for Dreams and did the same. Would be the best of both worlds, really...
@Milktastrophe I guess. It just gives me bad vibes, especially when Naughty Dog themselves promote the game. Why not fund it rather than have it go Crowdfund?
I think after all the negative gaming news, I'm becoming more cynical over time...
Maybe I'm being a cynic here, but why does a boardgame based on one of the hottest playstation properties in recent years need crowdfunding? Why would Naughty Dog not fund this, especially if it's based on their IP and Druckmann's a fan of these Escape the Dark games?
@IAmAshCohen17 Yeah, and Phil Spencer's words at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase suggest as much too: "We will be working together to create a brand new experience, like we've never seen before..."
@MFTWrecks I expect that Microsoft will try and acquire them if they're willing, Microsoft Flight Simulator has been a massive success for them and there's rumours of them working on another exclusive for the company.
Would love to see the tech in Flight Sim shared with other Xbox studios!
@GigaGaia Maybe we'll get a showcase soon. Would be a good place to show of gameplay for NFS: Unbound, Dead Space Remake and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Those games alone would be worth tuning in if you ask me.
@Kanji-Tatsumi Apparently a big reason why companies do this is to help with the hiring process. It's much easier for them to hire if they say "Come and work on Iron Man" than if they were to say "Come and work on an unnanounced AAA project".
Is it possible that, following on from their tease at Evo, this is just the full reveal of Tekken 8? Would love it to be some crazy announcement, but I'm tempering my expectations a bit

Re: How RTS Company of Heroes 3 Is Handling the All-Important Issue of Controls on PS5
@Otherbarry I suspect that will still be an option, but they need an option for non M+K users since a LOT of people don't use M+K for console gaming.

Re: Soccer RPG Inazuma Eleven Finally Makes Its PS4 Debut This Year
“Which have been produced by a company called MAPPA”
You say this so casually xD They’re only the studio currently working on Attack on Titan, just to name something which recently had a showing…
Re: Life Is Strange's Don't Nod Reshapes the World in Harmony: The Fall of Reverie
@Greifchen Yeah, they definitely said "Coming first to console on Switch" in the Direct, but several outlets seem to have missed that.

Re: The Outer Worlds Is Totally Coming to PS5, Even if Its Sequel Won't
@KidBoruto Yeah, I've no idea with Private Division. Being under Take Two may mean paid upgrade, but we'll see...
Re: The Outer Worlds Is Totally Coming to PS5, Even if Its Sequel Won't
@UltimateOtaku91 Hopefully if you already have the DLC purchased it's a free upgrade. Otherwise, yeah it's a bit of a cash grab...

Re: Next Game from Outriders, Bulletstorm Dev Loses Publisher, But Work Continues
I'm half-expecting Xbox to pick up publishing rights to this so they can add it to GamePass day one.
