Re: Poor Immortals of Aveum Sales Leads to Significant Lay-Offs

@rusty82 it is a fun game, isn't it. I also enjoyed Atlas Fallen, that didn't get much attention either. The story didn't do much for me and some of the script was a bit 'iffy' but the voice acting was top notch and the gameplay was very good. The scope of the world was fairly impressive and its aesthetic was beautiful.

Re: Of Course Assassin's Creed Valhalla Brings Back the Worst Part of the Series

@Sammerine just because it's a game doesn't mean it has to have a meh story. The Warhammer universe (40k and historical) has multiple games and the story telling is excellent (but I'm biased seeing as they're my favourite sci/fi-fantasy universes) and many other games have incredible worlds with rich, vibrant stories. Kingdoms of Amaleur<spelling pops into my head as do the non multiplayer Elder Scrolls games are just two examples.

Re: God of War PS4 Director Says Accessibility Will Never Compromise His Vision

I have one arm and manage just fine.
I actually have two arms but have a nervous system disorder (complex regional pain syndrome) in my right arm so can't use it, the fingers don't move and the elbow is very stiff to the point its painful to move so I don't move it.
I had to adapt to be able to play computer games, it took a while but I managed. I managed because I wanted to play certain games... if I can manage so can the able bodied whinners.
Sure, I struggle with Seikiro but I still play it. My biggest problem with the game is that I don't understand Japanese symbols so get confused as to when I should jump etc, I would appreciate if From software changed the colours of the symbols. This is the ONLY change I want made to the game.
I completed all Dark souls games and Bloodborne, didn't play Demon souls but I reckon I would have completed that too.

In short: you can play any game if you really want to!

Re: Activision Pondering Faster Content, New Monetisation for Destiny 2 After Forsaken Sales Fail to Meet Expectations

The other day I was in Destiny 2 lobby with someone that claimed to be a recentley fired from Bungie. He was saying that a new merchant is coming to the game, a merchant that will sell exotic items (weapons and armour as well as Sparrows and Ghost shells etc) and that after a little while this merchant will start to sell exclusive weapons and fast access to sought after items for real money and they will cost around $11 (about £8). I wonder how much of it was true now. I really wouldn't put it past Activision and therefore I wouldn't put it past today's Bungie.
I hope he was just a troll though.

Re: Sony Won't Allow Fortnite Cross-Play Because It Believes That PS4 Offers the Best Experience

MartinJames

@Shepherd_Tallon don't get me wrong, I have experienced stupidity on both consoles and pc but I experienced far more on Xbox much more often and it was far more vicious than any I've experienced on psn or pc.
Both consoles had very good communities when they first released, it was the same with the previous generation in my experience. Once the price of the consoles started to drop the quality of the communities dropped in turn I found.
I admit that it has been a long time since I games online with a headset so my recent experience is some what limited but what I experienced is what I experienced.

@jFug you can't think of one single reason not to have cross play with Xbox users? Not even one? I'm guessing you haven't spent a lot of time of the Xbox platform?
Xbox users are the most obnoxious and toxic gamers on any platform, you can guarantee to be bombarded with foul messages if you beat someone in multiplayer so imagine what it would be like if a PlayStation player beat an Xbox user!
I don't know why anyone with experience of Xbox users would want to make PlayStation users suffer them.
