@rusty82 it is a fun game, isn't it. I also enjoyed Atlas Fallen, that didn't get much attention either. The story didn't do much for me and some of the script was a bit 'iffy' but the voice acting was top notch and the gameplay was very good. The scope of the world was fairly impressive and its aesthetic was beautiful.
@miguelseara it isn't a terrible game, though. It isn't spectacular or revolutionary in any way, but it was a good game. I had fun with it, I completed it. Think Doom Eternal, with a less interesting story and the guns replaced with magic spells.
@Sammerine just because it's a game doesn't mean it has to have a meh story. The Warhammer universe (40k and historical) has multiple games and the story telling is excellent (but I'm biased seeing as they're my favourite sci/fi-fantasy universes) and many other games have incredible worlds with rich, vibrant stories. Kingdoms of Amaleur<spelling pops into my head as do the non multiplayer Elder Scrolls games are just two examples.
It could be quite cool if they let the modern day Animus user go back into Desmonds memories and we get to play a bit more of his story. If done well... which the modern day bits weren't in any of the games, the first 3 games were okay but not good. The most recent games the modern day sections have been good awful.
@tomassi but the point of the game is that it's difficult. Have you played the souls games or Bloodborne? Running through early stages whilst leveled for end game makes the games feel slightly pathetic, far too easy. An easy mode would ruin these games. I don't understand why people want the games changed, just learn to play them as they are!
@playstation_king of course you would *rolls eyes. The point of the games is that they're hard, the mechanics wouldn't work with an easy mode. The game clearly isn't for you, there are plenty of games for you. Try Minecraft, nice and easy, not taxing at all, sounds right up your street.
@SegaBlueSky I imagine the idiots calling for easy modes are the same idiots that insist all games must contain a political message, radically left leaning, obviously.
I have one arm and manage just fine. I actually have two arms but have a nervous system disorder (complex regional pain syndrome) in my right arm so can't use it, the fingers don't move and the elbow is very stiff to the point its painful to move so I don't move it. I had to adapt to be able to play computer games, it took a while but I managed. I managed because I wanted to play certain games... if I can manage so can the able bodied whinners. Sure, I struggle with Seikiro but I still play it. My biggest problem with the game is that I don't understand Japanese symbols so get confused as to when I should jump etc, I would appreciate if From software changed the colours of the symbols. This is the ONLY change I want made to the game. I completed all Dark souls games and Bloodborne, didn't play Demon souls but I reckon I would have completed that too.
In short: you can play any game if you really want to!
EA "Single player games don't sell" Rockstar "no, we didn't sell 23,000,000 copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 did we" The world rolls their eyes at EA. EA need new management at almost every level, including in some of their development houses.
The other day I was in Destiny 2 lobby with someone that claimed to be a recentley fired from Bungie. He was saying that a new merchant is coming to the game, a merchant that will sell exotic items (weapons and armour as well as Sparrows and Ghost shells etc) and that after a little while this merchant will start to sell exclusive weapons and fast access to sought after items for real money and they will cost around $11 (about £8). I wonder how much of it was true now. I really wouldn't put it past Activision and therefore I wouldn't put it past today's Bungie. I hope he was just a troll though.
@bindiana I am reluctant to buy Forsaken for this very reason. There are no measured opinions any more, it's all hype to the maximum and then tear it apart when people realise it isn't as good as they initially thought. This is partly Bungies fault but it's also gamers (especially reviewers) fault for hyping the shite out of everything before they know anything about it.
"The weapons and armour that you acquire from said engrams is usually an improvement over whatever you have equipped, and once you're past the soft power level cap of 500"
That's PASSED the soft power level... are your editors really so poor that they miss a mistake my 11 year old daughter caught?
@Shepherd_Tallon don't get me wrong, I have experienced stupidity on both consoles and pc but I experienced far more on Xbox much more often and it was far more vicious than any I've experienced on psn or pc. Both consoles had very good communities when they first released, it was the same with the previous generation in my experience. Once the price of the consoles started to drop the quality of the communities dropped in turn I found. I admit that it has been a long time since I games online with a headset so my recent experience is some what limited but what I experienced is what I experienced.
@jFug you can't think of one single reason not to have cross play with Xbox users? Not even one? I'm guessing you haven't spent a lot of time of the Xbox platform?
Xbox users are the most obnoxious and toxic gamers on any platform, you can guarantee to be bombarded with foul messages if you beat someone in multiplayer so imagine what it would be like if a PlayStation player beat an Xbox user!
I don't know why anyone with experience of Xbox users would want to make PlayStation users suffer them.
I can walk into my local Argos (South East, Kent) and pick one up right now if I want, according to their site. Game had them earlier in the week, they tried to sell me one when I was buying an Amiibo.

@JJ2 I too was surprised by how quickly it loaded from the disc, almost blink and you'll miss it.

@Azikira it almost looks like they gave you that much so you had to buy more for it to be useful.

@NintendoFan4Lyf live in the first world you get first world problems.

Why not? That is your job..

I bet they end up asking people to pay for the delivery of the new bag and to return the old bag. They have to find a way to make this worse.

Re: Sony Will Not Stop Posting Discounts on the EU PS Store
If you dont own Resogun I recommend it. It's a fantastic game, simple yo pick up and play but difficult to master. It's well worth your time.
