@LifeGirl Well my brother is a big fan of it. And really there’s just nothing going on with the series. I’m sure if anything new was announced or there was ANY sort of news he’d be excited. But there just isn’t much for the player base right now. Even the newest mobile game got delayed.

If this is true and ever does happen, Xbox itself might as well be dead and just go the Sega route. I’m not completely against Xbox or anything, I have a 360, but I just don’t see much incentive to play the One or that horribly named “Series” console. Even my brother uses his One to pretty much use for streaming services exclusively.

Im honestly fine with this. Just means it’s really being worked on, or not priority at the moment. I would absolutely hope they’ve got big plans with this game, since KHIII was rather underwhelming compared to KHII.

Will this game ever come out? It’s been such a rocky development, I honestly do want to see this game succeed beyond all expectations.

@Flaming_Kaiser I don’t have a PS4. My brother has two PS2s that need minor work, so that’s be much easier for me to get and cheaper.

If that’s who is involved, I definitely don’t want to see it. I do want to possibly try the game though, if I can get a working PS2.

I still don’t even know what it is. Not do I have a PlayStation that would even allow it.

@Stragen8 There was some leaked gameplay footage last month that was supposedly from 2020. So it was definitely in some playable state, especially considering development started in 2017.

Well at least it’s official. No news after two whole years, I was just waiting for them to finally say it was up and canceled. I would have probably played this too.

This is going to become one of those jokes about how long it’s been like Battletoads, Half-Life 3, or GTA6 isn’t it?

@joey302 It wasn’t exactly Nintendo changing the wording, it was a law that was passed. But I do agree with you that physical is better for those very reasons.

Well at least if it’s still in the same universe it’s not too bad. Like other series that have comics or novels sent in the same franchises. I’m not familiar with Until Dawn, but at least there’s some connection between the movie and game.

Ehhh. I like anime and all, but I feel like everything anymore in it just becomes some overlyhyped fad that gets replaced by the next one. All I’d ever hear about was OPM, MHA, then it was Demon Slayer, now it’s that ridiculous chainsaw trash. Maybe I'm just too old to see the appeal of these new things, I like older stuff.

@somnambulance Same over here, we have one game store that just is not worth going to. So GameStop is the only option. We mostly have to go out of town elsewhere, but it’s just too hard.

@PeaceSalad Personally I just feel people take them way too seriously, like the guy throwing a fit and bad mouthing companies doing these kinds of trophies. I do agree that multiplayer trophies aren’t the best idea, but it’s not anything that matters to me and I’m certainly not going to cry about it.

@nessisonett Yeah, I agree. I play a game for fun. Not just to focus on whatever trophies it has. Sure they can be fun at times, but they should in no way be obsessed over like that.

This is rather concerning. I enjoy going to GameStop often. Even if I don’t get any games. I do enjoy going with my brother and seeing how happy he is to find something he’s looking for, mostly collectibles. I like going there, I know everyone has problems with it for whatever reason. But it’s important because it’s where we can get physical copies of games. We don’t have any game stores where we live, so the numerous GameStops are a great option here.

But in all seriousness, while I’m not a Trophy/Achievement hunter and don’t really condone it, I do think it’s so stupid a lot of games have online requirements to get them because at some point you won’t be able to anymore.

Consoles are just so much easier to deal with. Just buy one and get the games for it. Whereas PC requires way too much technical knowledge and is just too expensive. Plus don’t PC ports still come out very buggy and practically unplayable often still?

@PuppetMaster I’m not exactly hoping for another collapse by any means. It’s just that it seems more likely lately. Studios being bought up and closed, half finished games being released, tons of layoffs lately…

Oh, the collapse is coming for sure. But still. It costs THAT much to develop games these days and yet they’re released in half finished states? Where does the money go?!

Well duh. That’s obvious. But even if consoles somehow went away, there’s still plenty of old ones that are still playable to this day that people can enjoy at anytime. Maybe I should dust off my 360 one of these days…As for “cloud gaming,” it’s not for me. I have lousy internet and would never be interested in that. I get disconnected trying to log into Infinity Nikki at least two out of five times I try it.

That’s pretty impressive. Sure most people will think it’s a d*** move. But honestly being such a perfectionist allowed the game to turn out so well. If only more companies had such high standards these days…

I really wanted to love this game and practically begged my brother to get it with me. But I can’t help feel disappointed. I did enjoy it, I’ll be honest. But it just felt like so many games I’ve played before. And the plot definitely felt like something I’ve seen done way too many times.

I feel like they’ve been a bit quick to replace LittleBig Planet with AstroBot though. Especially with the complete delisting of LBP3.

@Nekomichu I agree. I haven’t had the chance to play it as much as I’d like to for those very reasons.

Hopefully there’s some updates to the settings and stuff too included in this. I still haven’t been able to play it much because of the camera controls.

@AgentMantis I was highly, highly anticipating this game and couldn’t wait for it! But once I found that out, it was just so upsetting.

@Silenos I forgot about the menu lag! Sometimes the menus just stop working so I log out. Do you have the same issue?

Im loving the little bit I played of this and still log in every day. But there’s no option to invert the y-axis, making it extremely difficult for me to play since I’m not used to it at all. But I do like this game and the art style is phenomenal. I do agree the controls are a bit awkward because of having to use multiple buttons to open menus.

When this first came out all I heard was awful things, now I see constant praise. Was it good or not?

@Carck This is exactly right! There are so many games reported on here I absolutely despise. I don’t constantly bitch about them. I mean I make the occasional snarky remark, but I don’t sit and belittle them all. To me, this looks like a cute fun game that I can enjoy. It’s obviously not for anyone, but some of us are looking forward to it.

I honestly don’t even think I heard of this game until now? Was it really that big a hit to get a series, or is the bar just set low enough that something only sounds interesting that make it a show? Not that I am ragging on this game.

I really hope to get this game when it comes out. It looks cute. You can all act like prudes in the comments all you want, it’s obviously just not for you so move on! I’m a girl, and this looks like a fun game to me, and I mostly only play Pokémon.

Are all these ratings companies just becoming total ***** shows lately? There really needs to be an industry wide overhaul for all this, I know Australia has gotten strict with their ratings and the ESRB is oftentimes questionable.

And that’s exactly how it should be. Just keeping things small and doing what you want. I can understand funding for things being necessary sometimes, but it shouldn’t interfere with anything. I’d rather enjoy something like this than most of these AAA games that just feel incredibly overrated.

@wiiware Exactly right, it’s just harmless fun in a fictional setting. It’s not hurting anyone if things get a bit racy.
