Well at least there’s a fix instead of outright censoring it entirely. I’ve never played this and am not a fan of Genshin, is this any different?

@Jireland92 Thank you! I was beginning to think I was alone in that ideology. I play or watch what I want because it looks interesting to me, not because of what awards something wins.

@themightyant Even if it had 200 million plus viewers, I still wouldn’t be impressed. I’m just not one who enjoys awards. But if it’s what you’re into.

@rusty82 I didn’t play games then and mostly know what my brother tells me he remembers. I know the whole Nintendo vs. Sega thing way back in the day. So I honestly can’t say much I probably should have phrased my comment better.

You can preach and push it all you want, I still don’t care about it. And it’s over, why are we still talking about it? I couldn’t care less about these awards. I just want to play games without being told what is “the best of the year” or any of that crap. My personal game of the year was Pokémon Yellow, and that came out 25 years ago and I wasn’t influenced by any award show or reviews to play it.

More games should take the Omega Quintet approach. Instead of disappearing like this, the girls turn around holding down their skirts and scold you. Makes things more interesting rather than outright censoring anything.

@Steel76 Back when you could just play a game, no DLC, updates, streaming, and nobody really ragged on each other for enjoying a different console than them?

If that Xbox part is actually true, given how Xbox news is handled on this site, they really just need to give up. There is no way they could ever hope to turn things around like Nintendo did from the Wii U to the Switch.

I do think it’s pretty impressive the Switch is now bigger than PS2 over here, I never thought anything could beat it in any country. I like Nintendo, I like PlayStation. If I can get one repaired, I’d even have a PS2 for myself.

So I’m other words, company didn’t win award, throws a fit. Remind me again how this is news? To me personally this just should that this company shouldn’t be worthy of anyone’s time if the CEO throws a fit like this for not winning some award that means nothing.

I thought it was pretty good. The colors could hand been toned down slightly in my opinion and it felt a bit easy compared to other 2D Sonic games. It probably should have been pixel style like Mania though, the Chaos Emerald powers barely went used and seemed unnecessary. But aside from my criticisms here, I had fun with it.

@Fishnpeas Now you have the right idea there. That would help a lot and probably lead things how they were. Wasn’t it back in the day most that kind of shovelware slop only on PC and consoles had more quality content?

Infinity Nikki! Even if it’s a bit. Difficult to play in its current state. Stellar Blade was. Okay, but nothing special for me unfortunately despite how much I wanted to enjoy it.

So does this mean there will be even MORE Elden Ring articles!? Ugh…I own ONE old FromSoftware game, and I haven’t even played it. I just don’t understand why everything they make is extremely overhyped…

@Kidfunkadelic83 I never understand why people insist digital is cheaper. I can, for example, go buy Scarlet Nexus at GameStop for $5! Or buy it on PSN for $60. Yep. Digital sure is cheaper alright…

@Wakkawipeout Nope! I don’t play indie games. That said, the only system I own that can connect online is a Vita. So I don’t really have any way of purchasing them. But I don’t see much that interests me that I can think of off the top of my head.

I still much prefer physical media. Sure, I spend pretty much all my time with my autistic brother watching streaming services, BUT our internet is horrible. He buys movies all the time, which we can easily watch without having to wait for it to buffer. Plus movies come and go on streaming services and sometimes you can’t find what you want specifically because nobody is streaming it. Also, sometimes there are shows that have “banned” episodes that you can’t find streaming. I’m looking at a Pokémon box set right now that has one of those episodes on it. So it IS better to have a VHS/DVD/Blu-ray of it. Same with physical games. Games sometimes get delisted and you can’t buy them anymore. Yet if you have a physical copy…

You can all preach your “digital only” crap all you want, but physical media is still incredibly important for those very reasons.

Now, I’m not saying we’re both strictly physical media, he owns some 30+ Switch digital games that were bought at deep discounts. But still you can’t just up and deny that physical media is still important with the points I’ve given.

I barely made a PSN account this year. All I’ve played are Dungeon Travelers 2 and Infinity Nikki. Humorously, I don’t even qualify for the Wrap-Up. Although apparently I didn’t have Full Data on unfortunately…

I’m just waiting for it to be over so we can finally be free from these damn articles. I honestly just don’t care about these things, and even hate games that were plastered all over the covers with “winner of 200+ awards” or a blurbs from some dumb review. Sure they announce things. But I’m not going to sit through that crap just for a trailer that will be online right after.

I don’t think I could actually be any less excited for this crap. Award shows mean nothing to me. I just want to play games I myself think are good.

Just looking more and more like there’s a new crash incoming. There’s layoffs all throughout the industry, what, every week now? Things really aren’t looking good.

I feel like he’s really the only voice actor with range anymore. Most of them just use the same voice for everything they’re in.Which not ALL are bad, but some just get a bit tiring to me.

So it seems everyone can fall for baseless rumors? That’s why I don’t believe things until they are officially announced. Never want to anticipate something that doesn’t pan out.

Infity Nikki!!! Hopefully my internet holds up. I tried last night, but I didn’t want to have to constantly deal with it needing to reconnect. Currently I’m playing Pokémon Yellow Version. But tonight I really want to get back to Infinity Nikki. I’m really liking it so far.

@PuppetMaster Yeah. But sports are sports and games are games. There’s a huge difference. I just play games for myself or with my brother. It’s not anybody’s business how good or awful we are at fighting or FPS games. We just have fun and I really don’t understand why there’s a need to make them into tournaments or anything. But maybe I’m just too old to understand. Whatever, I’ll stick with my JRPGs, Pokémon, and mobile games.

Am I just too old fashioned to understand the appeal of these things? Why do people care about who is good at a video game? Can’t we just play a game and enjoy it for ourselves? But that’s my take on all this new age junk.

@Psnfanboy79 Aside from watching my brother play something when I’m with him, I actually don’t use any of that streaming stuff to watch anyone.

I absolutely have no idea why people are like that. I absolutely LOATHE YouTube, twitch, etc. whatever the hell sites people stream on. If I’m interested in a game, I’ll buy it and play it myself. Granted, I DO spend most of my time with my brother and will watch him play games, but I also play them with him. Just play the damn game if you’re not in it people!

When my brother got a PSOne last month, and let me have his old model. I still haven’t tried it. But we’re were playing FFVII on his “new” one a few weeks ago. It was very fun! I loved every minute. I need to get myself some games though.

I don’t really even use social media. I guess I don’t see any point? I mean, I post comments here and on NintendoLife. I use Reddit occasionally, most mostly just to ask questions to help my autistic brother. But I guess I just never saw the appeal?

@__jamiie And Lego City Undercover. But yeah, considering how many games are copies of or inspired by others, like the over abundance of Metroidvanias, you would definitely think GTA would have inspired way more games. Maybe nobody truly feels they can live up to what GTA already has to offer?
