I liked the voice they gave it in FFXIII-2. It was cute, fit the personality of a moogle really well. Dunno what else you could expect really.
With the moogles in FFXV, I prefer them being in the game like this than not at all entirely. I think it's a neat idea too, that actually fits the world.
Dualshockers also wrote a great review for it and 9.5/10 score. These glowing reviews are really tempting me from getting it in January, to getting it day one!
I really don't see anything wrong with wanting to expand on a game after release and encourage people to come back to the game.
So what if they might just be DLC costumes, are they compulsory? No. If people want to buy that, let them be.
I just find it absolutely crazy how much flak Square gets with Final Fantasy when plenty of other developers do the same thing and no one complains, like not including a season pass in a collector's edition (Uncharted, Dark Souls, The Witcher all had collector's edition without including their season pass and no one cared). Even Square used to add more content to their games after release before DLC was even a thing through re-releases (Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Other FF entries like X including Dark Aeons etc.)
@themcnoisy Obviously there are people who believe it does warrant that position. There's no right or wrong. Better to discuss and understand each other than criticize choice.
@themcnoisy FFXIII is pretty huge and widely loved in Japan. I find it surprising too that it can be adored in one region but disliked in another. Personally I loved it too and can understand it's place on the list, but hey-ho we're all different.
@playstation1995 Well, as I said that is just your opinion on it, it's evidently not everyone else's. No need to go around calling people opinions horrible haha.
@playstation1995 People have different tastes in games. Like you just listed a bunch of games you think are the most memorable but that's not what everyone in the world will think, especially in different regions.
Gotta accept that your opinions won't always be the same as others. Personally I think the Famitsu reader's list is pretty accurate to how I would put it.

Re: Wow, Moogles Have Really Fallen From Grace in Final Fantasy XV
@johncalmc Are you implying that you don't mash the attack command in pretty much all FF games

Nice spot, must be a mistake.
