Nice surprise to see Ace Combat 5 in the PS2 list! Personally I preferred Ace Combat Zero but AC5 did have the best and most memorable story.

@playstation1995 People have different tastes in games. Like you just listed a bunch of games you think are the most memorable but that's not what everyone in the world will think, especially in different regions.

Gotta accept that your opinions won't always be the same as others. Personally I think the Famitsu reader's list is pretty accurate to how I would put it.

The list is pretty good, need castlevania symphony of the night and puppeteer thought.

@themcnoisy FFXIII is pretty huge and widely loved in Japan. I find it surprising too that it can be adored in one region but disliked in another. Personally I loved it too and can understand it's place on the list, but hey-ho we're all different.

Taste is regionally effected for certain bias'. Although I don't agree with some of the picks. I see where they are coming from.

@Kurome at number 2 though? I completed ff13 all the way through to those giant trial things were you pick a path like outrun, however Its just not good enough to warrant that position.

surprised Yakuza 5 is not on the PS3 list... currently playing it and it has immediately become my favorite PS3 game ever (except for the Kingdom Hearts remasters)

I love the fact that Nier took number 1 spot for PS3. It's always great when you get some real surprises on lists like these.

For me, the Playstation 3 doesn't have any memorable games besides maybe uncharted. But really though, I can easily forget about the PS3 as a whole and definitely won't miss that console system.

Better than most of the American lists I've seen, as they're free from the cloying Naughty Dog worship. FFXIII in second place on the PS3 list hurts, though.

@Kamikaze_Krunch Yeah. PS3 is the only PS console I never bought, and, quite honestly, I don't feel like I missed out on too much. The only things I'd buy it for are maybe 2 or 3 Japanese exclusives and PS2 classics support.

PS1/PS2 were full of legendary games, though, and are two of my all-time favorite consoles.

Kinda hurt how low FF8 scored....it's my absolute fave FF game.

Did they all forget Tales of Vesperia came out for PS3 over there? Sheesh!

I'd be hard pushed to fill a top 3 for PS4 let alone find 10 games worry of note.

Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain - worst in franchise and also available on PS3
Uncharted 4 - makes top 3 by default but is the equivalent of the Arkham knight to the Arkham series, Uncharted 2 safely retains crown as naughty dogs best effort yet.

@ReDiR my list of games is the same list of top ten from the article, with my comment on their appearance in said top ten. My point is, most of those games are not "top anything" material, let alone sufficient to produce an all time top ten list.

The game itself is one of the most solid games on PS4 and is certainly the best street fighter game in history, if not a contender for best fighting game yet.

The initial lack of content for single player is irrelevant when assessing the quality of the game.

I'd rather have it now and get the updates free as they are developed as opposed to waiting a further 6 moths till it was all finished or releasing a full version that is full of bugs and flaw back in March.

Most certainly should be in top 3 of PS4 at worst, even if beat-em-ups are not your cup of tea, there is no compromise on assessing the level of quality put into this game and how solid the mechanics and engines are.
