PS5 Pro update and I'll stop everything I'm doing and play Cyberpunk 2077.

It looks good but I hope they fix the camera and I wished if it wasn't so inspired by Witcher. I know they're ex-Witcher devs but at least I want to feel it's a different world but right now it looks very Witcher-y to me.

I believe the main issue here is that a lot of games launches in a terrible state and needs some patches to solve these issues. If games launch in a nearly perfect state then I guess people will be happy to support these studios and buy the games full price.

The only thing that holds me back from playing the original Trilogy through PS Plus Premium is that I have some hopes they'll announce a remaster/ remake this year!

Wow this poll showed me that I'm not alone that feels Doom series is just not for me. I know it's a great game but I only played Doom 2016 in recent years - I played the 1993 like 30 years ago or so - . Maybe it's the story that I didn't like, or the world setting?
I'm not sure to be honest but I hope everyone who likes the series to enjoy it.

And here I though Nintendo was the evil in the room.

Started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and finished Act 1. What a game, love it so far. I've also started NG+ in Stellar Blade to get the final trophy and platinum the game. Forza Horizon 5 too between sessions.
And when my friends are online we're playing Diablo 4 together.

Best console I've ever owned. The game's quality is just insane and being able to play games like Forza Horizon 5, Stellar Blade, Horizon series, Monster Hunter Wilds and Expedition 33 ... etc on 60+ FPS without sacrificing the quality is awesome.

@Neither_scene Yes I think we'll see 60FPS mode on Pro at least.

That sounds great. PS Portal was a great proof that PS Portable will still find its audience.

I guess people get disappointed because Sony changed its promotional tactics without explanation for the audience. I mean I get it and that’s why I watched the latest State of play as a PS owner to see what I’ll play on this machine the next year or so and not expecting it to be focused on PS Studios games. Watching it this way made me very satisfied and excited for a lot of games that was shown there.

@Reform Well I did just like what PC players are doing for years where they trade in there older GPU/ CPU or whatever. So I spent 270 Euros only when I got the PS5 Pro because I didn't keep my older PS5 + some physical games that I was done with!!!

Dammit. Now I'm tempted to get the game day one and play it. I didn't play the first one but this one I heard a lot of good stuff about it and it's enhanced for PS5 Pro. Do I need to play the first one though?

I mean here in Germany the physical market is still massive and even for the movies, series.... etc. So I don't see it's going away anytime soon and I'll keep buying Physical games until I can't anymore.

I enjoyed Starfield when I had Series X before and definitely I'll buy it when it launches on PS5. I hope with Pro enhancements as well!

While I really loved the game's world, gameplay and Story but there are a lot of stuff I hated in it especially the romance in this game was undercooked compared to previous entries. I don't know why they did it this way but it's barely memorable.

That being said I really enjoyed my 97 hours in it and it was my first Platinum to get on PS5 Pro.

Great article. If there's a choice worse than simply unforgivable I would choose it. I'm worried more about the devs and studios. We're losing a lot of great talents lately because of stupid decisions from the executives who magically stay in their positions until they're "retired".

I fell in love with the world of this game. It's really interesting and to be honest some side quests are having a great story behind them. I see myself playing this game for years as my always on, cozy game.

I gave up and switched completely to Digital. Sold my disks and got most of them on sale on PS Store

Well I mean there's still people who are using DVD players and it didn't disappear even if we've Netflix and co.

@DonkeyFantasy Just ignore the extra stuff like the mini games because it was bad executed to be honest. The story of the game was really good.

It's on my list. I've been struggling the last few weeks/ months to have an always on game added to my list, something that I can play for a long time alongside the single player game I play. Currently playing Marvel Rivals and The Crew motorfest but I guess I'll add Wuthering waves to this list soon.

@StylesT As a Dragon Age fan, I liked the direction of Dragon Age The Veilguard and enjoyed the 97 hours played in the game. The last few hours in the game was a masterpiece that gave me confidence that BioWare still knows how to make Epic sequences and get you attached to their worlds.

I played the game at launch but I couldn't stand the technical issues it had but loved it. I wanna go back to it sometime early 2025 since I heard a lot of praise of its performance on the Pro.

@LavenderShroud I'm few hours in the game but it's not similar to Genshin. I played Genshin impact but wasn't a big fan of it either. ZZZ is an Action-RPG, So far I don't think it's an open world but you've something like a hub where you talk with companions and then you travel to small areas to progress the story. Gameplay is much faster than Genshin and the world kind of similar to Cyberpunk.

As I still didn't play Dragon's Dogma 2, My best open world game was Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth but solid choices.

So surprised that Helldivers landed on #9. I thought it might end up in top 5 or so.

I'm currently playing Alan Wake 2 on the Pro while also replaying to Spider-Man Remastered on it. I'll definitely replay Horizon as well on the Pro.

This machine is awesome.

Never played Oblivion but I enjoyed the heck out of Skyrim so definitely looking forward to this remake

Zenless Zone Zero deserved a place here but I agree with P3R to be the best Art Direction this year.

I feel ashamed that I didn't play any Persona game yet.

No The Crew Motorfest in the list? For me it was the most impressive game I've played so far on my PS5 Pro.

I played DA The Veilguard, The Crew Motorfest, EA FC 25 and some VR games too.

Maybe I'll give TLOU or Hogwarts Legacy a shot just to see how they look on Pro but I already platinumed both.

I've to say that I really liked this list so thank you guys. I used it to do some refreshments needed to my lists too. The only game I would add is the Crew Motorfest as it's the best Open-world Arcadey racing game on PS5 and it's getting better and better overtime.
