Lifetime PlayStation ONLY, never Xbox player here. And I find it super ironic that the original plan was to buy up studios to get exclusives for Xbox, and after all those Billions they just gonna sell them to PlayStstion anyway. As long as I get Bethesda and Activision games I'm cool, even if I need to wait 1-2yrs until ported. If not I've got 200+ games in my backlog still to play lol.

@AllStarGamer So many on Gamepass = unsustainable business model. And after all those billions spent on Bethesda and Activision is why Microsoft will be raising the price of Gamepass and make more games Multiplatform and sell to Playstation (which in the long run will probably lead to a Sega like outcome)

@__jamiie No I don't have a huge Xbox wishlist. I have over 400 PlayStation games on my PS5/ 8TB external hard drive for it. The only "xbox" games I want are Bethesda games aka Starfield & future Edler scrolls and Fallout.

Hey timed exclusives and themes have been on both side on Call of Duty. But swiping companies up and denying games that was xbox being dirty. I mean COME ON- Activision owns Crash Bandicoot which was a Playstation mascot for pete's sake lol.

@Terra_Custodes Nothing wrong with your way. PS5 is my 1st digital only. You may wish to try out Playstation Extra for 1 month $14.99 to test it. By the $100/yr(only $8.33mo) - I think it's a great value. If you're already Playstation Plus essential Sub be on look out sometimes Sony has upgrade to extra discount deals.

And as for "old fashioned" - I'm 52yrs old myself my 1st game was literally Pong! 🤷‍♂️🤣😉

PS - I got Cyberpunk 2077 launch lol - it got hate, but I enjoyed it just fine on my PS5. I might play it again - since I think they updated it a bunch since day 1. ✌️

I pay $99/yr for Playstation Plus Extra 3 games every month to keep as long as member, and HUNDREDS of others. So if you spend $10/per game you'll have 10 games after you spent $100 - I have about 450 games to choose from - I like it.

@ironcrow86 LOL because there a ZERO compromises on the PS5 Digital it's exactly the same specs and power. It's a perfect solution for a gamer like myself that downloads all my games. I don't buy physical discs so they let me save the cost. 🤷‍♂️ - ONE AND ONLY diff is it can't load a physical game - which I don't do so. get it now

@BleedingDreamer I have a 2012 Mac mini - not good for gaming. Regardless even if I had a PC to handle Starfield I won't reward Microsoft monopoly moves. If they did a timed exclusive like Sony did with Deathloop ok that's fine. But a keep of Playstation forever. Nope.

@SgtTruth believe it or not not everyone lacks your patience. I have Playstation Plus Premium and i'm enjoying games from many Years ago lol. Just played Mafia 2. Waiting a year VS Never is obviously not the same. I prefer waiting. Unlike Day one buggy $70 games. When I wait I get them for a lower price, bug free, & often all DLC to boot. Doesn't matter if a game comes out today or 5 years ago - the 1st time I play = new to me

@WallyWest Sony was gonna pay Starfield for 1 YEAR exclusive rights, Microsoft Locked it down forever (so far it seems), if Microsoft did the same thing and made Playstation wait a year I'd be perfectly ok with that I'm a PS5 owner & I could wait. They literally had an email saying "we will spend Sony out of business", also remember they bought Bethesda they said "Future Bethesda games will be on Xbox, PC, and "other consoles on a case by case basis." - then later Elder Scrolls & Starfield won't be on Playstation. They aren't spending $69 BILLION to let Playstation keep playing Activision games #duh! And Activation OWNS rights to Crash Badicoot! That was Playstation's mascot, it be like Microsoft buying rights to Mario! SMH. Small chance FTC is appealing, but I bet the next judge is also in Microsoft's pocket or ignorant to gaming industry.

@cassiel I’ve had my PS5 since launch and I do PS5 games, but with Playstation Plus Premium it gives me access to 100’s of PS4 games i’ve never played before. And PS4 games load faster on PS5 as well. I have fun with both last gen and current gen games. Heck I even will still play some Atari 2600 games for nostalgia on occasion 😎🤷‍♂️

I have my PS5 set to play all games in Performance mode by default. I’m not sure how anyone can stand 30fps. I’ll take smooth 60fps anyway. I have a 65” 4K tv and can can’t notice a difference in graphic quality, but I defiantly notice stuttering frame rate different.

@MattBoothDev In the type of person if 2 gas stations are side by side i’ll goto the on that’s a penny cheaper. 2 seconds less load time x 5 load screens per hour playing 2 hrs daily adds up to about over an hour less load time over a year that i’m saving. And on weekends i’ll play 20hrs. 🤷‍♂️🙃🤣

@evan23 Sony has awesome exclusives but they START that way, they don’t “steal” games from Microsoft by buying companies up. Sony is better. Microsoft was approached by small company to make a sequel to their PC 2D game & Microsoft passed didn’t think it sounded good - so they went to Sony who said “yes” that was GTA3 lol. Timed exclusive - they let microsoft have it 1 yr later. Sony Bought BUNGIE yet you can play Destiny 2 on Xbox. Long story short microsoft are sore losing babies. Taking away Starfield & they want Activision. I own a Mac & I will never buy xbox or any microsoft crap due to their LONG history of unfair business practices.

The coolest thing about Playing on my PS5 is the PS4 games load Faster on its internal SSD! Store all your extra games o. external keep your top 5 games on internal…way better.

@Tharsman I think the cards go away if you unfollow all games, remember anytime you download a new game it autofollows it

@Tharsman two choices: ( 1) When the icons display on bottom - press Options & you can rearrange or hide any - so you can move “power/rest” to the spot where you’ll land on it with a press, (2) Press and hold Options in game will take you directly to home screen.

@Tharsman - meh - I bought 2 PS5’s Launch day with disc, I regret that could’ve saved $200 if without disc - I only played a disc game a few times before I was downloading all digital versions. I only have like 10 PS4 games on disc, 400+ PS4digital download on my external HD, And with Playstation Plus Premium - I’ve switched to ALL DIGITAL, games on discs are old news for me. I had records, cassettes, CD, DVD’s before, now it’s all Streaming. I’ll never buy disc again PS5 and beyond.

@Luigia $29.99 for Returnal? Just one game? I got Playstation Plus Premium $119.99 (Year), & downloaded Returnal it’s included with it & HUNDREDS (700+) of other games 😎 (50 Ubisoft games by end of 2022). $29.99 per game will get you 4 games. 🤷‍♂️🤨✌️

I was just thinking about shovelware when I saw Pickle Run for PS5. I remember shovelware let to the Atari 2600 video game crash…but this generation has so many good games, I don’t think a crash will happen. But yup - there’s a bunch of crap games…I never even thought of the easy trophy angle. I play for fun, trophies are cool bonuses…but not my obsession

I’ve been a video gamer since the 1970’s so covid lockdown we didn’t increase my game time - I game DAILY….but, I’ve stopped playing COD last year. Why? Simple - 18 YEARS of pretty much the same gameplay - run & gun, camp & scope - it’s gotten played out - Boring! Why should I buy a game every year - just to eventually play Nuke town 24/7 etc…. COD basically has “jumped the shark long ago” 🤷‍♂️

But, your statement is WRONG -> you said I wanted “get stuff free off of others' work under socialism?.” - Nope/False - re-read my comment I said “ my dream is to live in a world where robots do ALL the work”. Literally ALL work done by AI/ Robots. Robots would build robots, repair robots, do 100% of the labor. So I wouldn’t be living off of other’s work. We all would be in the Utopian world where robots do all work and humans just have fun 😎🤷‍♂️

PS - capitalists do NOT value work. As the hard working laborer will get paid 300x less the easy CEO job lol. Capitalism is all about the less work the more money.
