I still remember getting the PS1 as a kid. We did have a Genesis that I played before that but that was my Dad's. Having a system that was mine was pretty sweet. I had played so many games both good and bad; From the awful, yet incredible(for all the wrong reasons) Phantom Menace, to Spyro 2. Ghost in the Shell, Crash, Fighting Force, Mega Man Legends, Parappa, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Medievil, just to name a few.
God now I feel old 😑

@somnambulance Spin Master just recently started making figures of PS games. They're currently doing human characters (Aloy, Jin, Kratos the ones you'd expect to be made first) but they'll probably do other non-human ones if they sell well. Ratchet, Astro etc.

@Maubari It was a joke about how Square aren't happy with any of their launch numbers and call them "disappointing" no matter what.

If Helldivers 2 bombed and didn't sell then I could see it as a possibility. But since it was a big hit I don't think there's any chance of that happening.

I really love this. The OST in the their games are always great. So I'd wanna go for sure if the show comes here.

@get2sammyb Hey just wondering if this is the "complete" version. When the game originally came out they took a section of the game out to make it a pre order bonus (for whatever dumb reason) so just wondering if that was put back for this release. Thanks!

I've never understood why people even waste their time doing this. You changed the review scores on Wiki, great! That doesn't somehow erase the real review scores from existence.

I remember some players (me included) were hoping for an Until Dawn sequel back then. I'm not sure if they'd be able recapture what that original game had though. Even Supermassive has tried to ever since.

@Bunchesopuppies Just meant the concept in general. Like during the PS5 shortage; a new player interested in getting one wouldn't have been able to.

I like that idea way more than how it is over here. In fact, Sony was doing that initially during the PS5 shortage (that's how I got mine). But on the flip side, a new player interested in getting one will now be screwed.

At this point I'm more surprised when games aren't leaked early.

I really loved the game but the performance was my biggest gripe. Although I do agree that it only being able to be fixed with the Pro is kind of a cop out; Especially when Sony's first party studios are already able to do it.

Oof. That really sucks to see, and also kinda surprising. When Astro launched I remember seeing in my feed how it sold out a few times at different Japanese retailers. So I guess they just didn't have that many copies available(?). Still, I'm hoping the little dude succeeds.

The price is steep, but the sticking point for me at least is that it doesn't come with the disc drive. Like they seriously couldn't have just thrown that in and given players the option right out of the box?

@Loamy If it's a pre order then they won't charge you until it's in stock ready to ship. At least that's how it is for games and peripherals. So hopefully it's the same for consoles too.

I'm genuinely interested in seeing what happens with the Pro. It obviously won't appeal to all of the players, but definitely will to some. Even though I'm priced out of it I'm not outraged at it either.

I too am really surprised at the level of support. I mean why aren't all the other studios more upset at seeing their characters reduced to cartoon shills being used to promote some small game?

I guess overpaying for studios + their IP while expecting players to flock over to your platform afterwards and having it not happen would cause you to change your plans. I also don't get the whole "it's an industry wide thing". Like nah dude I'm pretty sure Nintendo and Sony are doing pretty well for themselves.

Really glad to hear it works well! Especially after the initial worry.

I use a 5TB external storage that works just fine for my purposes so this isn't for me. Plus I doubt I'd ever need that much space on my PS5, but good for those that would if they're willing to pay.

Not surprising to see. That'll always happen when companies put "Limited" on their products. I saw that it went back in stock a few times on PS Direct though so hopefully most of the people that wanted one were able to get it.

What's interesting is it actually selling that many. I know people that were interested in the PSVR2 but the price kept them from jumping in. Just shows that there's at least some interest there if it were more affordable.

Very nice 👌 That Aloy in particular looks pretty incredible. Also nice to see Jin in the line. To my knowledge the only figure he's had is the Figma and that's gone way up in price over the years. I'm curious to see how deep the line will go.

I wish everyone involved would just move on at this point. I know some people like/miss Days Gone but it's just not happening, which Bend has stated multiple times. For me personally I'm interested in seeing the new stuff they're working on.

Kinda weird considering there already is a PS4 version of Bounty Hunter available right now. Even just looking at this trailer I can't really tell any difference.

Really glad to see this release. MVC2 in particular has a weird time running on some emulators sometimes so it's great to have an official version readily available for players. Even if it took this long lol

I've never really understood that argument. Sony's studios do the more mature narrative games very well so of course they're gonna focus on those. But there's no reason why Astro Bot and Lego Horizon can't coexist with God of War and TLOU. It doesn't have to be one type or the other. I'm glad they're doing more games like this(will be buying both) but I also don't want them to do a hard shift either. Balance is nice.

Sucks that not everyone will get to play it right away. Remembering all the discourse a while back about the frustrations some devs felt about having to make their games for the S too, I'm starting to wonder how long it'll be until some just start saying "no".

Glad to see it's still getting updates. I really loved this game so I'd definitely be up for more content. Hoping for a future performance update though 🙏

If it means I'll get more LEGO sets then I'm all for it lol After the Tallneck release I've been hoping for more sets with even more PS properties.

Atm, I'd say it's working pretty well. As their bigger games take longer to make it's smart of Sony to get a Stellar Blade or Silent Hill to help fill the gap during that time. I've been enjoying what the PS5 has been getting. Plus I'd rather have it this way than have their first party studios just rush games out unfinished. There's WAY too much of that going on as it is.
