Re: Red Dead Redemption PS4 Announcement Gets Slaughtered by Fans

Human_Tornado

All of the negative reactions feels like gamer entitlement to me. Would a remaster been more appealing? Certainly. Is the price too high? I believe so… but this is preservation for the game on widely available systems - not everyone has a PS3 - and it’s entirely new to the Nintendo audience. One has every right to feel disappointed, but to get a port alone (barring it’s not busted) is still a better product than the GTA Definitive Trilogy.

Re: 32 Games Will Be Taken Off PS Plus Extra, Premium Next Month

Am I incorrect in thinking that as long as you've added these to your collection, you'll still have access to download them? I've got many games that I still download despite never purchasing them. I've only ever seen a handful of games that I've been locked out of over the 10+ years of being a PS Plus subscriber.

Just like MFTWrecks said, my buddy had the same theory about the infection causing Tess to submit - just a further extension of how the fungus spreads. Works for me.

I kinda wish the other infected had just rushed past her, showing that they already sensed her as one of their own and therefore not a concern. Tess, accepting that she is doomed, sparks the lighter and we get the same scene as is. But nobody asked me how to write their multi-million dollar show for some reason, so I'll accept their choices I GUESS. This show rocks.

Re: Toy Story 2 Is 2022's Most Played PS1 Classic on PS Plus Premium

Human_Tornado

So, I know a lot of people grew up with this game, but I still think this is a damning statement on the Classics catalogue. We could have so many more titles to choose from. Is Sony still trying to move PS minis? I'm sure rights are a nightmare to navigate, but if MGS, Twisted Metal, Vagrant Story, Soul Reaver, Parappa, etc where available, Premium might even be worth supporting.

Re: Sony's 1-Hour PS Plus Trial for Rollerdrome Is an 'Estimation', You Only Get 35 Minutes

Human_Tornado

Having played the trial, I thought the 35 minutes was sufficient for a try-out without playing too much of the game. Sony should have advertised it as much though. 1 hour vs 35 minutes is a very poor
'estimation.' Especially since it's the ONLY thing Premium is offering this month. Sony simply must to improve this tier in September if they have any hope of digging their way out of the PR hole they've put themselves in. An answer to GamePass this is NOT.

Re: We're Sure Fans Will Be Rational Over This The Last of Us PS5 Clip

I loved TLoU when I played it one the PS3. I enjoyed it again when I played it upgraded on my PS4 and...I don't think I'll be playing through it a third time. I may have given it a spin had there been an upgrade path option, but I just view this as an opportunity for users new to the PS ecosystem. I don't necessarily see it as a wise business decision on Sony/ND's end, but I'm sure they've got plenty of analytics to back up their choice.
