It is likely that Sony recognise this term as gospel and established so want the average consumer, at a glance, to associate every let's play video they see to the Sony brand, making the 2 household terms synominous
Thus it would actually harm their market presence by removing any let's play video title. It wouldn't even make sense blocking ms or ninty videos with this moniker as leaving it in subtely undermines the other brand and introduces a Sony undercurrent to a non Sony product.
@professorhat the birth of my kids was the reason I never owned a ps3 or Xbox. Alongside the xbone they are the only consoles I've not owned. Back with a vengeance now they are older though.
Feel like i issued out on so much last gen, god I wish the ps4 had backward comparability!
Probably get shot saying this here by that's why I love my Wii u so much...with off screen play negating TV competition once the kids are in bed I've never been able to game so much! Maybe I need a vita to do the same on ps4
I skipped unity as I'm a bit worn out on this genre...but living in London and loving Victorian history...I just can't resist!!! Please don't screw it up ubisoft!
