@0niguy Yep, enjoying mine too. Just having that tricky conversation with the wife explaining that I now need a more expensive tv. It’s not going well 🤣🤣🤣
@LiamCroft 🤣🤣🤣 keep the articles coming! Really enjoying them. It’s perfectly obvious who are here to just be negative - perhaps even with an affiliation elsewhere…..
Like others have said, I’m finding all these pro articles really helpful and interesting. The haters and moaners are always gonna do their thing in the comments but personally, I’m really enjoying the pro coverage. Please keep it up! 👍
Yes - as I’m sure somebody would soon produce a mod so it can be played in VR on quest or PSVR2 even though the developers seem to say it’s not possible…..
Would love to play Indy on my PS5 but there are so many rumours flying around at the moment, think I’ll just wait for the gamescom announcements before getting too excited
@specky ha ha - yes that argument was a bit extreme - I really should know better than to post comments after a pub crawl 🤣🤣🤣
I’m personally still enjoying the PSVR2 but am also very disappointed in Sonys “launch it and leave it” approach.- so I can see how it would put people off. I hope you find a VR platform that works for you 👍
@jp80 sorry to hear that - I’m as angry as you about the lack of direct support from Sony. Especially astrobot.
I’m still really enjoying my headset but I’m also no blind fanboy and I’m seriously thinking about where I go from here in terms of VR.
It just makes me laugh that exactly the same people pile on with the hate on these PSVR2 articles
@specky because any basic experience of real life shows that unless you have actually experienced something then it’s very hard to judge it fairly. I have changed my view on many things after having actually tried them. But if you’re one of those people that believe they are experts after reading a few articles or watching a few you tube videos then nothing I will say will change your view. LMAO indeed…..
AND……….cue the usual haters with the ps vita / doa / price too high at launch / quest 3 is amaaaazzzzing comments. Half of which don’t even actually own a PSVR2. 🤣🤣🤣 god bless the internet 🤣🤣🤣
@thefourfoldroot1 Totally agree - this repeating article is a bit of a joke now. Just close it down pushsquare. I like this site a lot but in terms of vr, we all get our info from more accurate vr sites anyway.
It’s going to be announced at the Tokyo show, probably with pre orders shortly after. Day one for me. Hopefully that really annoys all those miserable people saying no-one should buy one. 🤣🤣
@adge_uk totally agree - I’d also love a difficulty setting for these games but then you just get souls fans shouting at you saying it would ruin the game / wouldn’t be the same. I have no doubt it wouldn’t be exactly the same tough but rewarding experience, but I’m pretty sure it’s something I personally would enjoy. Kudos to those that can smash these games though - my old thumbs are long past such achievements!! 🤣🤣
@klog60 wouldn’t waste your time - he’s a big pcvr / quest fanboy that has a rather worrying hate obsession on the psvr2. He says the same things on every single article. He doesn’t even own a PSVR2. 🤣🤣 you won’t get a sensible discussion - most of us just ignore him now.
@WhiteRabbit ha ha - who doesn’t?? Yes, saw it got some good reviews - it's on my list but got a bit of a backlog at moment, Synapse next then Vertigo 2 (with graphics update hopefully!). Thanks for the suggestion 👍
I guess if they had just said that early and up front it would have avoided all the disappointment for VR fans. I think it’s that blatant snub that has angered so many people that invested in Sonys PSVR2.
As much as I’m loathe to agree with the usual pSVR2 haters (they’ll be here any minute - price too high, DOA, my Quest makes my breakfast…) it’s a pretty sure sign Sony have lost interest in PSVR2.
Hopefully third party games like Behemoth will keep it moving forward
Despite the cheeky price, I was quite excited until I read the bit that says pretty much none of the PSVR2 features are supported. ☹️
If I’m spending alot of money on a beefy pc (as I’d want a top experience) I might as well go for a better pc headset as well. When is the quest 4 due out I wonder….
@Leeg Yep, their very first “Psvr2 is doomed” article came just 4 weeks or so after its launch!! 🤣🤣 You’ll never guess who wrote that one…
To be fair though, Aaron did an excellent interview on the PS you tube channel with Gamertag VR - a really balanced reflection on its first year - both pros and cons.
@TrickyDicky99 well despite you making exactly the same point about price that you do on Every. Single. PSVR2 Article 🤣🤣 (no mention of “dead on arrival”?), I would have to agree that if (and as you say it’s still an if at the moment) there is no VR version of this game then that’s a hugely negative message from Sony and would be a big worry.
All those running around waving their arms in outrage, please feel free to continue to do so whilst I’m playing on it 😃😃😃
Cudos to those happy to wait another 4 years for the PS6 but as an older gamer, I’m hedging my bets and taking every upgrade while I can still move my thumbs! 🤣🤣
The interesting thing will be if it supports PSVR2 this time as well as PCVR. If it doesn’t then the quest 3 doom-mongers on this site will have a party in the comments 🤣🤣
Although if the game supports PCVR and the PSVR2 headset will support PC play going forward then that’s still one option at least
@Intr1n5ic He won’t have played it on PSVR2 as he doesn’t own a PSVR2. He let that one slip a while ago! Beats me why he’s so obsessed with the PSVR2 articles on this site.
@Yozora146_ Yeah exactly - the controller thing a constant background worry that is just so unnecessary. I full on wince when I let one of my reckless friends have a go!! 🤣🤣
With the warranty for day one purchases running out in uk / Europe, I was so convinced it was going to be part of the birthday announcement. Guessing it’s some sort of production line issue - but it is getting ridiculous now
Really love my PSVR2 as think it’s:-
1) super comfy (for me anyway)
2) got some amazing games
3) love the oled
4) the cord doesn’t bother me at all as I’d rather have better graphics.and not worry about battery life
5) Already got a massive backlog (as I’ve never played crossover games like vertigo 2)
But as others above have said, you can’t hide from the fact that:-
1) Not enough PSVR1 conversions
2) Not enough direct Sony support
3) No vr media player
4) WHY ON EARTH can’t I buy separate controllers???? So annoying!!!
Looking at getting a gaming PC to run in parallel with PS5 so very excited to see how the pc support for PSVR2 pans out. Quest 3 is the other option obviously.
Saw Dennis’s comment above but interested to know more about the jump scare tone down. Alan Wake 1 was scary enough for me (yes, yes, I’m a wimp!) so have been put off Alan wake 2 by all the reference to full on horror / constant jump scares
@TrickyDicky99 And I can list a bunch of people that are far more positive about PSVR2 - GamertagVR (who you’ve conveniently dropped), PSVR2withoutparole, Myles Dyer, Polish Paul, etc - what does that prove exactly? Nothing. You can find a YouTuber / website to back up any view you want. Only the next couple of years will show who’s right.
Would I class any of the people you listed as trolls? Absolutely not. But then they don’t go onto a PlayStation site and post the same negative comments about PSVR2 over and over and over on pretty much Every. Single. Article.
@TrickyDicky99 @charliechoochoo Ah, here you are again TrickyDicky with the same old pcvr fanboy rhetoric 🤣🤣 Always makes me smile given you’ve said previously you don’t even own a psvr2.
Glad you’re a fan of GamertagVR though - same here - not sure which video you were referencing as the link has been removed but have you watched his recent video about making a bet re psvr2? he talks a lot about the over-negativity towards PSVR2 and about people desperate to slag it off all the time (hmmm, who does that sound like???). But that one doesn’t quite fit your normal negative stance does it so no doubt you’ll ignore that one.
I do think the UEVR mod looks amazing and am currently saving up for a beefy pc so I can experience both psvr2 and pcvr but I won’t be constantly going onto sites just to attack one headset or the other.
@Yeayeah No, they are different games - Plague Tale 1 was given away on ps plus previously, this month is Plague Tale 2. They have never repeated ps plus games that I’m aware of.
Wow - that’s a real shame. Firewall Ultra wasn’t my sort of game but I’d read that the latest patches had improved it considerably. Worrying times for all devs it seems.
I’m no super tough gamer (Jedi knight is closest I’ve ever come to a souls game!!) but imagine beating that end of level boss on the third try and not knowing if you had actually beaten it or if the game had just put it on super easy for you. No thanks.
