I would say do the upgrade which covers only 32 days and then get the discounted deal for Black Friday which will be an additional 365 days in your subscription.

I don't understand, why deprive some players of the option of choosing if they want the boss to be nerfed or not. I got the game in July and with working and life as an adult, I just beat the Godskin Duo... so the time needed to go through the game is a bit on the low end of the spectrum.

I have to wait for NG+ to give the DLC a proper run until then I am afraid that another patch might affect the game balance...

I am disappointed by this anti-consumer practice from Sony. They have been in the business of displeasing their fans and customers lately.

I've gone digital-only for the past 5-6 years and it felt good to get a little something back by spending money on the service and game I like and have been connected to since I was 5.

Since PS Star was released I have redeemed about 50 euros via the points I have gathered (PS extra fees and game purchases). A drop in the bucket but better than nothing.

@all3forever Yeah, as soon as a model/version refresh is announced the production of the old version has been dropped. The new model would already be in mass production and about to prepare shipments.

As far as I am concerned this is a notable price increase, that being said the situation is complex. The truth is that game streaming or even the subscription style offline access that PS Extra offers, require a larger overhead than might have been assumed.

The initial revamped Playstation Plus was tremendous value for what was being offered, particularly the PS Extra tier. Sustaining these services economically seems like a tall order to me (business wise). As a result, we have this substantial increase in price.

Now, everyone finds themselves in a crossroads of diminishing returns (which we need to put our money where our mouth is). Those that can afford the price hike will continue to use the service and those that cannot justify it, have bills and other pressing payments to follow up.

@ChakaL00T I hear your frustration but sometime it is just the odd one out of the assembly line. It sucks to have a faulty piece of hardware but as long you get the replacement without spending anything out of pocket it is a win.

Haven't seen in discussed as far as I know. I would like for the sequel to have the same expansion pack the first game had. I enjoyed them very much and can just be excited of the prospect of getting more from Insomniac!

Let's be a bit idealistic for a moment. Trophy Hunting, implies that there should be a hunt. All those that bypass the process or the grind in our joint activity, aren't abiding to the gentlemen agreement.

From Software games have a distinct horror sublayer in my opinion. Particularly, the first playthrough nails that atmosphere.

I believe we all can agree that this is a broad topic. Since we are a playstation community I will only address Sony but this is an industry issue. Disclaimer, I am no expert, just an enthusiast.

Tech iteration are being pumped out constantly (at least yearly), it makes sense to improve with minimal change in cost. As much as I would like for Sony to focus un PS6 I struggle to see how can you RnD for a project that is end of 2028-29 launch window. Overhead expenditures would get out of control due to constant change of the industry baseline.

I happened to encounter it with Horizon Forbidden West. I received some notifications; 7 days before said expiration, the last hour remaining to play and the last 15 minutes.

I was logged out and the game had a lock. I launched the game again and haven't had the issue before.
