I would have it as a 2nd room ps4 if my next roommate doesn't have one and plays games. Most of my games are digital. account sharing and easy co-op would be great.
I actually liked this game, but recently quit due to it constantly requiring internet and being able to shut off at any time.I don't mind free to play games as long as I can play them offline
Lost sale for the developer. Since Velocity(Mini) & Velocity Ultra (Vita) were both Plus games, I didn't expect to see 2X be free on Day 1 especially with all the hype it's getting from the press. Although if I may be critical for a moment, Plus already does have a number of side scrolling shooters already on the Vita. I would like Sony to offer underrated PSP games on the service just to offer more variety and leave the indies and few big pushlisher games to discounts. Since PS4 is not backwards compatible they could offer free PS Now game time.
Great month, but I'm disappointed to see that Joe Danger & Velocity 2X are on here since they were already going to be day 1 buys. I've already purchased TXK & All-Stars. Interesting to see All-Stars added the same month that Smash Bros. 3DS comes out in Japan.I don't know a thing about Hoard, so I'll claim it and try it out eventually.
A Vita + 16GB card + Minecraft + Tearaway + Little Big Planet for $250 + marketing sounds like a great idea for people on the fence to me. I am more disappointed that the price of memory sticks weren't slashed again at Gamescom. The 4GB card needs to go. For games that are digital only like FFX-2 or Soul SaSacrifice Delta, or even games with huge patches like Killzone Mercenary the little card is a joke for those whom try to stick physical releases.
@get2sammyb you keep mentioning the ps4. but not the ps3? Did those run exactly the same? How does the Vita version compare to the ps3? I've only ever seen the Wii U version in action up close.
I love this game.... after buying the Mega Bundle. The ftp version is essentially a demo that you can get trophies in. the random nature of getting hero's unless you use a certain item, which of course you can buy with cold hard cash is another gripe. wooo random playtime inflation.
I hope they do dlc. I've been wanting this game since Kickstarter, I don't really have a PC for the Steam version, I have yet to get a ps4, but claimed the game from PS+, I want to be able to support the work of the developer somehow!
I guess if you really wanted to party chat with multiple friends on XbOne while playing, without hitting the input button on the tv, this option is a thing.
games that I played on PS3 local with 5 and more players at a time, Bomberman, X-Men Arcade, WWE games. I'm sure sports game supported it, Always had big groups for Rock Band. but that was on X-box.
Geeze, why are so many people on here so anti-social locally? and for those that aren't, it's not like friends can't bring their own controllers.
I think the price of hardware is fine compared to the feature set & power of the 3DS. It's just the cost of memory cards that I dislike. I have a huge psn back catalog of games I have been saving from the PSP that I can't play properly due to my PSP's busted dpad/analog nub.
I really think the next generation is going to be more about gimmicks, innovation, and features. I really think both Sony and Microsoft will be trying more to cater to all consumers. People say PCs currently have the power to make the ps3 and 360 look like garbage, but I have yet to see a game look like that, let alone a fleet. Do people realize how long it takes to animate Pixar movies or Avatar? To expect games games to look that good in that recession sounds almost like a joke. If video game studios close often now, what do you expect then?
Well, unless they remove the ability to swap hard drives, I think this is a fantastic way for Sony to save money, However, the way game installs alone eat hard drive space, I could see this being very annoying for the casual clueless market and the retail staff that has to deal with them.

Re: Review: Destiny (PlayStation 4)
@SonyInfinity I haven't played Phantasy Star Online in years to remember it's details. But the game feels lik Halo + Monster Hunter to me.

Re: Rumour: Resident Evil 7 Will Spook PS4 into Submission at E3
I loved Revelations on 3DS. a beefier sequel like that on Vita would be a day one buy for me.

gosh I've been looking forward for this since launch. I guess I'll have to buy a copy on Steam just to support the developer.

With all of the developers and publishers closing, yea they better concentrate more on features than power.
