I'll wait for a sale, even if that means waiting a couple of years. I just want to play single player not the online so why should I fund that portion of the game which is going to be full of micro transactions anyway.
Depressing reading when you consider most of the titles are multi platform and the inflated price tag of the 1st party games. Hopefully Sony's answer to game pass will address some of that but as an owner of both a PS5 and a Series X I'm far more excited for the games I'll be playing on game pass in 2022. Stray is the only game on the list I'm considering as a day 1 purchase the rest....I'll wait for the sales
We need a Bad Company 3 single player campaign as DLC. That's about the only thing that would tempt me to pay £70 for this game. As soon as Sony announced the £70 RRP you knew EA would follow suit.....with a f-ton of loot boxes, sorry surprise mechanics, added in as well
Sony appears to returning to it's old arrogance. Little communication, £70 price tag on new games, charging for PS4 to PS5 upgrades.... MS however are doing the complete opposite and are doing it well. I Own both consoles now and the PS5 hardly ever gets switched on, something I never expected when I first purchased it!
No way would Sony go ahead with this with so many gamers under the legal age to gamble and no real way of policing it effectively. Even if was all virtual without the ability to spend real money the negative PR would be crucifying.
And this article shows why I'm spending more time on the series x at the moment.
I think the PS5 is awesome but I'm not paying £70 for a first party game.
As the article said the gun play fit with the theme of the game, gotta agree that it isn't naughty dogs strong point. They more than make up for it in every other area though.
Easily the best 'sports' sim out there. EA take note, this is how you make a sports game without alienating the majority of your fanbase every year......

As someone who owns both a series x and a ps5 I'm pretty pissed with Sony at the moment. I foolishly pre-ordered and Sony don't let you cancel.
