Still in Slovakia at the moment, and taking my time with it, but really enjoying it so far. Not overly disappointed that it's about 15 hours long as I seem to drop off lengthy games - I have 75 hours in both Crimson Desert and KCD2 but haven't gone back to them in weeks whereas I've had a great time with Pragmata and Requiem and made sure I finished both.
Solid month for me. I nearly bought Wuchang recently and I was only thinking the other day that I missed having a footy game to play. Nine Sols too as a bonus!
Marathon for me. I've tried extraction shooters before and dropped off them fairly quickly but this one seems to click. The combat is top notch and there's enough lore/interest in the world to keep me coming back. Played as assassin in co-op and really enjoying going in as Rook for that stealthy, sneak around gameplay. Really don't understand the hate.
BF6 for me as it's trying to get back to BF:BC2 and BF3/4 days; COD seems to be the same regurgitated game year after year. I've enjoyed COD over the years but I feel like we've moved on from each other. Really enjoyed the BF6 beta so far; however, anybody else feeling the TTD is off? Or do I need to git gud?!
KCD2 for me...still. Really enjoying taking my time with this one and I hope it's instilled a degree of 'take your time, enjoy the moment' that I can carry over to DS1 as I'm determined to enjoy/finish it before I invest in DS2. But, for now at least, it's all about mastering my combat and boosting my alchemy stats in KCD2.
Absolutely loved Clair Obscur and thought it would be my GOTY in a heartbeat; then I started playing KCD2....not entirely sure where the hours have gone. What a game.
KCD2 for me. For some reason the first didn't click but I gave the second a chance. So glad I did, what a fantastic game. About 45 hours in and just got to the wedding. It turns out I'm quite the murderous thief.
I made a NY resolution to get through a significant portion of my backlog before buying a new game. First on the list is RE4R - why I sat on this for so long is beyond me as I'm really enjoying it.
When I first started the DLC, I felt woefully out of depth. The only character I had was at SL 271 and on NG++ and in the first few hours I got annihilated every time. Had a tinker with my respec and now I'm enjoying it much, much more, gradually chipping away at enemies I wouldn't have considered in the first few hours of playing. All things considered, I'd say it was a combination of rustiness (hadn't played base game for over a year) and possibly the NG++ element too. But now, now I'm 'enjoying' it. Getting 2 or 3 shotted with 99 HP is very frustrating though, just need to git gud again I suppose.
I played ME1 but never finished it and can't remember why. Played ME2 and loved it from start to finish: never played ME3 so I'm really looking forward to completing, revisiting and starting a completely new experience with this trilogy.

In-between dips in the sea and BBQs, I'll be playing Khazan. Finally picked it up in a sale and loving it.

Re: Pragmata (PS5) - Brilliant Combat Is the Star of Yet Another Capcom PS5 Hit
Bought this to break up my Crimson Desert gameplay so I don't get burnt out with it. Having a good time so far.
Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Month (March 2026)
It would've been Marathon before I decided to ignore some of the mixed reviews and took a punt on Crimson Desert. Having a great time with it.

Re: Round Up: What Was Announced at The Game Awards 2025?
The statue game was a new Divinity game by Larian. Great trailer too!
Re: Battlefield 6 (PS5) - The Best Battlefield in Over a Decade
Had a couple of games last night (Rush) which I really enjoyed. Either I suck or the TTK/TTD seems a bit off. I'm sure it's the former.

Re: Elden Ring's Difficulty Destroyed By New Shield Weapons, as Players Call Them 'Absolutely Busted'
Tried this against Messmer and got destroyed. Went back to my bleed Unga Bunga and took him down. Got stuck on this boss for waaaaay too long.
