Hope this becomes a reality. This was my first entry into the Tales series so would definitely pick this up. Didn't they also delist the xillia titles from a store not too long ago (can't remember which store).

I am on the fence, what would swing it for me though would be if they made the thing backwards compatible with the ps3! Ironic - shiny new box for games that have been gathering dust for a decade!

Not really the same but we have mk1 and cities skylines 2. Two pretty bad launches and for very different reasons. While one is charging stupid money for 30 seconds of graphics and goading it's fans with disrespectful tweets, the other has openly stated that its not in the state they wanted and now have announced 8 free packs with a load of free content and committed to get things right. So WB it's not that you can't do the right thing and give back to a loyal audience. It's more you WONT. Both games launched incomplete but it seems that one studio gives more of a toss about the players than the other. As a player of MK from the very first game its sad to see the state the series is in right now in terms of its leadership as it seems they have just checked out mentally and just chasing a paycheck at this stage rather than putting out a quality product they are actually proud of. Rambling rant over.

A dream announcement is sky trilogy for ps4/5 as well but not entirely confident about that.

But I kinda have a feeling they might go off script and announcement a new IP!

Think this is a fair score! Having played and finished the storymode I have walked away with a distinct feeling of "meh" after being excited from the trailers - NO SPOILERS - I am very disappointed with the way some characters stories have been told, but also like some of the team ups that seem so random. But glad that 3d era characters haven't been abandoned.

I can definitely see an aftermath type dlc being planned as its an easy cash cow but I also struggle to remember the ending because it was so "meh" and I finished it yesterday!

Invasion mode is pretty dull, and as I said previously from my beta experience it's feels a little sluggish to play. Wish this was more mk9 than mk11

Over all I'm not writing this off right away. Some of my complaints are probably down to me being a bit crap at the game!

Heard that a dlc / sequel was on the horizon. It looks interesting but I still haven't finished the original as i felt the back end kinda lost its pacing and was drawn out to the point of bring a bit meh. Dont get me wrong the story was mostly good but never really connected with the characters. Seemed a bit stiff (Kisara and Dohalim).

@danzoEX I'm very meh about spiderman 2 and loved the first. Lost interest in miles morales. Kinda bored of if before it arrives.

ANYWAY - Cait SIth is playable, Vincent was shown. Roll on 2024. Its gonna be one of the best years for JRPGs in a while!

Hesitatently hoped for this as expected a TGS showing, but woo hoo! ...... have to finish the remake first. Really happy though!

Hoping for FF7R2 - hopeful as I had some notification on Facebook today about it being the 16th anniversary of something FF related. Deleted the notification before reading it so can't say anymore.

I think Star Ocean 2 second R is possible as they just announced literally every other title coming to ps plus premium.

Also really hoping the Resi 4 separate ways dlc is shown, though that's probably being saved for TGS. Same goes for Granblue relink.

Initial impressions are that in very happy with Nitara being on the roster, like the new look - not an overly stereotypical camp vamp (know come the storymode i will eat these words). But then we factor in Megan..... umm guess subtitles and the mute button exist for a reason. Particularly love the oxymoron of her saying "I love mortal kombat" yet delivering lines with all the enthusiasm of passing a gall stone!

Hopefully this will "showcase" some new and exciting additions to the plus service to remove the sour taste in so many ps owners mouths and go some way to justify the harsh price hike. Sadly reality will be more along the lines of sony saying the increase is necessary in order to " continue the high quality service" blah blah blah.

Yup I'm going to wait just a little longer to get this. There were some pretty bad bugs at launch so I've been told so seeing what the update brings. Also waiting for a price drop too!

@LordAinsley Hey I'm glad to be proven wrong sometimes just very cynical at this point.

@LookingCoolJoker seems every jrpg players birthday is in February in 2024! I think I'm going to hold off on getting Persona 3 for a while as I bet there will be "Royal" type edition later. I really hope the next FF7 and like a dragon instalments comes January and April respectively.

@Sam_ATLUS even more tough on my bank account! I would be happy with April and May, actually need time to play the damn things!

Beyond happy Sindel is there! She has always been a main for me and I can't wait to be hands on with mk1! Yes its a total reverse from my beta hands on experience which I said was slow and clunky but now I'm getting a real buzz for this game.

Held off playing this specifically for this. Looks awsome and I can't wait

As much as I want this last year, I am glad my backlog of jrpgs is given a chance to be completed. Just know its gonna be in the crossfire of ff7 rebirth.

@mcdreamer I ordered a physical copy and got sent a code at the start of last week so can't comment about how the ps store works with beta codes.

Also want to update my opinion on the game. I'm definitely warming up to it more the more I play it. I kinda think some characters are slightly faster than others. I did consider cancelling my preorder initially but I've changed my mind and going to see how the final game plays.

It's good to hear them recognise sly and infamous. Hopefully means there is a tiny chance they will be revisited at some point.

Dissapointed about Sareena being relegated to kameo as she has been screaming for the chance to shine for a while as far as I'm concerned. Also her redesign looks awsome. That being said really happy Reptile is back and potentially won't be a jobber plot wise. Ashrah and Havik both look cool, even if I'm not sure I will rush to play as them (mainly talking about Ashrah here). I just want Sindel to be there as she was my main in mk11

Loving everything about this this! Li Mei looks really fun and as some have commented online elsewhere I see xmen jubilee vibes. I also can't help but see very slight elements of Cetrion in Tanya's moveset especially with the golden halo that appears. Calling it now if Tanya is Mileenas confidant than Jade will appear and be an antagonist for sure. Netherrelm keep saying things are not going to be the same, hope this doesn't happen. Also please bring Sindel back she was my main in mk11 regardless of her lore being butchered.

@number1024 yeah I agree. I remember thsy initially there was a problem with the geofront english translation of zero and azure, but then take them on board to assist in localise I knew they truely appreciate their fans.

Fingers crossed for a release date for granblue fantasy relink. Can dream of a tales of xillia 1 and 2 remaster as well. Maybe scarlet nexus 2 announcement. Meh who am I kidding, none of this will happen!

Will be getting this! Loved ys viii and ix! Excited to see what they add to the mix this time round.

Im loving the optimism here honestly and happy to be proven totally wrong. But having been severely burned by hype before i have a looming sense of deja vu being on the horizon. I think it's going to be 2 new titles and the rest being remaster, remakes, re-imagining etc. To a point I'm in support of some of this. Would kill for a remaster of tails of xillia for example. But wouldn't be surprised if they pull a last of us pt 2 given a ps5 "upgrade" of sorts move, which just using necessary at this point.

Great news!!!! Played zero and completed it and instantly moved on to azure. I understand why many consider the crossbell arc to be the best in the series as it all just works. Characters are awesome and the building of lore is perfect. I started my legend of heroes journey with cold steel 1 and have loved every game since and many missing pieces of the wider story now makes sense. Can't wait for reverie later in the year. My biggest hope is that we get a trails in the sky remaster on current consoles. Know there are issues around this but make it happen falcom!

Guessing there is big news on the sequel in the ps showcase at the end of the month then eh?

With the game going gold recently, what are the chances of the release being moved forward?
