Baraka, Li Mei, and Tanya Konfirmed in New Mortal Kombat 1 PS5 Trailer

Baraka looks a bit slower than I would like, but, hot DAYUM, I am loving the reinventions of Le Mei and Tanya. Both of them look incredible.

Kinda odd that we've only seen the Earthrealm and Edinian side of the narrative and they haven't really shown anything of the Outworld side yet...

I'm maintaining that both endings of MK11 Aftermath are canon, that we're dealing with some split timeline shenanigans, and we'll be seeing Shang Tsung's side of the narrative closer to launch.

I've criticized some character design in a previous article for being bland (Especially Raiden), but Tanya's design is the best in the whole series. In every other game she was a bit meh with not much to show besides the colour yellow, they turned how unique she looks up to 11!
Baraka also looks really cool with a more slender design making him look younger.
Li Mei is more subdued but still a good design, just a by underwhelming.

I have mixed feelings about rebooting the story again so soon, but I always have hopes for an interesting single player campaign when it comes to MK. Fingers crossed it'll be a good one!

I like the Li Mei pick! The 3D MKs were personally my favorite of the series so I like seeing some Deadly Alliance representation. Honestly a bit more interested in MK1 after seeing that.

My favourite 3D era Kharacter Li Mei is back after all this time she looks amazing and Kelly Hu is voicing her that's so awesome 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

Don't know what the hell happened to Tanya though she looks absolutely nothing like Tanya

Loving everything about this this! Li Mei looks really fun and as some have commented online elsewhere I see xmen jubilee vibes. I also can't help but see very slight elements of Cetrion in Tanya's moveset especially with the golden halo that appears. Calling it now if Tanya is Mileenas confidant than Jade will appear and be an antagonist for sure. Netherrelm keep saying things are not going to be the same, hope this doesn't happen. Also please bring Sindel back she was my main in mk11 regardless of her lore being butchered.

Li Mei and Tanya look really good.

Also Goro, Darius and Khameleon as assist or whatever they're calling it.

Super hype for this reboot. Loving what they're doing with the story.

Well, it looks like the leak is spot on so far.

Well, i think Tanya is far too changed to the point that it looks like a completely different character that seems to share the same name. She lost the Cleopatra like look that i think made her unique.
Li mei looks good though.

The darrius cameo looks... unnecessary though. I don't think anyone needed him back. I am expecting Kobra and Hsu Hao now. Lol

Looks great, but wb is giving me little incentive to buy at launch, since all their games get complete editions later down the line.

@somnambulance don’t recall Baraka, but I do remember Li Mei and Tanya, I thought those were the stretch but there they Are. Also the kombat pack was spot on.

@GeneJacket Kitana, Jade, Sonja, Cassie, Jaqcui, Mileena to honest all the female characters in MK11 dont they look normal? I really like the look of Kitana and Young Sonja to be fair all the female characters look cool.

@GeneJacket If you see attractive woman in your life do you also saw them as porn star? So you only see woman as a sex object? Dude that's not healthy, and kind of toxic.
