Losing a target during a tailing mission no longer gives a game over — you just have to find your target again - now this I like!! Some of those tailing sequences was super boring in the original. Loved the game still but this is a nice change.
Take Two have no interest in selling gta vi at a high price because they need a high installbase for online (where they make their real money). Instead other gaming companies need to chill out on development time and money spent making a game.
I'll probably buy it for my gf because she loved the original but personally right now I think its too pricey. That might change when more details surface.
Maybe they were running out of money and had to release it to get some income to keep working on it? And because it sold well on release they can now do all the things they didnt have a budjet for if they postponed the release? Either way, I'll buy the ultimate edition on next gen, maybe.
So combat is optional which is great because fighting regular enemies gets boring quick. Bossfights are nice though, as well as traversal. What makes this game great though is story, va, music and presentation. Definetly worth a playthrough!
The fact that powerpyx has listed they will release a platinum walkthrough on April 7th says it all (they usually release walkthroughs on day of release). They already made a guide for Starfield when it first came out though so i wonder if any of the trophies are different from the original achievement.
The convluted menus and and user interferance made me cancel my preorder after playing the demo. Any chance you actually get used to it after playing for a while Shogun? I loved everything else in the demo but that one annoyance was too big for my liking.
Doesn't matter to me when they (xbox or ps) release their next consoles. I'm not buying anything next gen until they got like 5 pure exclusives I feel is must play. I got a Switch 2 when they had 3 exclusives I wanted but I could have easily waited one more year when I think about it.
Combat is weak but can be skipped entirely (this does void a bunch of trophies). However, everything, and I do mean everything else about this game is a 10/10 in my humble opinion. Definetly worth a playthrough!!
Lake House was crazy good. Currently playing Control AWE dlc again now and the little tid bits Remedy drops in it about Lake House is so awesome now that I've played it.
I thought the reason it was painted as a sales flop was that SE themselves said it didn't meet expectations and had a weaker start than FF 16? Or am I tripping?
This weekend I'm playing DQ11 on the Switch and Indiana Jones on Series X. I've put STALKER 2 on hold for now. Its a great game but its really testing my patience at times and I'm not really in the mood for that. On PS5 I'm currently not playing anything but I am considering Rebirth, Infinite Wealth or Silent Hill 2. I might pick up one of them before the sale ends.
As for next year, there's currently 31 games I'm looking forward too. If 1/3 of them actually releases I'll be more than happy with 2025.
@Balaam_ Your reasoning is sound. Personally I dont think I will play it until they patch in an auto-complete feature for the minigames (that still unlocks trophies). I looked at all of them and they all seem silly and not fun. Except for the card game but I'm not sure.

Re: PlayStation's Huge Days of Play Sales Begin Next Week, Reportedly No PS5 Console Discounts
I know its early but fingers crossed for Pragmata and/or Saros.
Re: PS5 Will Reveal the Most Played Games with Steam-Like Player Numbers
@dardel thet could have made it with last of us factions but they cancelled it for whatever reason.
Re: PS5 Will Reveal the Most Played Games with Steam-Like Player Numbers
I'll check it out if I can choose 1player games only.
Re: Game of the Month: Pragmata (April 2026)
@Crimson_Ridley Thank you for replying!
Re: PlayStation Urges PS4 Players to Upgrade to PS5 for GTA 6
@BrokenByTheScream This is my biggest concern about gta vi and main reason I wont preorder tbh.
Re: Game of the Month: Pragmata (April 2026)
@Crimson_Ridley How was the lunatic run?

How long is the story?

Re: 'Nobody's Taking Risks': To Keep Control Resonant Looking Unique, Remedy Avoided Other AAA Games
Love Remedy games. Hyped for another one.
Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Month (April 2026)
Sammy punching air right now seeing all his nte articles amounted to 2% in the votes. Lol.
Re: Poll: One Year Later, Did Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deserve All the Praise?
No other game quiet like it tbh.
Re: We're Sure This Petition to Release the PS5 Last of Us Online Multiplayer Game Will Work
I'll sign it just because I would love to play it and would buy it day 1. I'm not even a ps+ sub but I would sub for this game. Insert would gif.
Re: Poll: Are You Sold on Assassin's Creed: Black Flag's PS5 Remake?

Re: The Last of Us Online Was 'the Best Multiplayer Game' Devs Ever Played
I dont understand, if the game is 80% done. Why not finish it after Intergalactic? Or let Bungie finish it?
Re: Xbox Is Flip-Flopping on PS5 Again, and It's Truly Getting Tiring
Wouldn't call new leadership looking into different ways to move xbox forward in a healthy substantial way as flipflopping but ok.

How long is the main story?
Re: Starfield Has a Serious Crashing Issue on PS5, PS5 Pro
Never had a crash on xbox since launch day, not even one. And I've played Starfield like a lot.
Re: Capcom's Pragmata Uses Less Than Half the SSD Space as Resident Evil Requiem on PS5
Considering the pricing and file size I bet its a pretty short game. Still very much looking forward to it!
Re: 'We've Really Gone to Town': Control Resonant Dev Diary Focuses on Its Action RPG Gameplay
Remedy is awesome. I'll be there day 1 as always.
Re: Uncharted Fans Think a Social Post Is Evidence of New PS5 Entry
Lost Legacy 2 should have been made. Drakes story is done. A Sully story set as a prologue to the entire series could work too.
Re: The Last of Us Multiplayer Was 80% Complete Before Cancellation, Spent 7 Years in Development
If it is 80% done, why not finish it after Intergalactic?

Re: Opinion: Does Starfield Suck? People Keep Telling Me to Skip Its PS5 Release
Starfield is great. Always has been.
Re: 'We Will Work to Make Improvements Quickly': Crimson Desert Sells 2 Million Copies on Launch Day
Been hyped for this game since the first reveal trailer years ago. Now I feel like I need to wait at least a year but most likely next gen.
Re: Preview: I Think Pragmata Could Be PS5's Best Shooter Yet
I'll buy it once I know how long the story is. I have a feeling it will be a rather short experience...

Re: Dead or Alive 6: Last Round Is Sounding More and More Like a Rough Deal
Unless Last Round includes all DLC's and works cross platform and with the og version it makes more sense to wait for the next installment tbh.
Re: Opinion: The Euphoric Reaction to PS6's Rumoured Delay Really Confuses Me
To answer you question Sammy. We be broke. Lol.
Re: PS6 Could Be Delayed Due to RAM Price Chaos
I'm fine with this. Push it to 2030 even.
Re: Game of the Year: #4 - Ghost of Yotei
If GoY is in fourth, and DS2 and E33 is yet to come. Whats the last game in the top 3?
My guess is SHf.
Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5 Art Direction of 2025
Death Stranding 2 is my number one in this category and its not even close. The Nirvana episodes alone are such a spectacle.
Re: Game of the Year: Robert's Top 5 PS5 Games of 2025
Finally someone got the number one spot right.
Re: Game of the Year: Aaron's Top 5 PS5 Games of 2025

Stellar Blade is the true GOTY. I knew it would be your number one Sammy. Happy New Year!

Lake House was crazy good. Currently playing Control AWE dlc again now and the little tid bits Remedy drops in it about Lake House is so awesome now that I've played it.
Re: Game of the Year: #4 - Stellar Blade
I was certain Sammy was gonna lobby this game into the top three. This is my GOTY right here.

Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5 RPG of 2024
I gotta go with Dragon Age Veilguard. Never got bored with it. Game respected my time. And the main story was very intriguing with a superb 3rd act.

Re: Game of the Year: #9 - Helldivers 2
This game was a lot of fun!
