How long is the story?

Losing a target during a tailing mission no longer gives a game over — you just have to find your target again - now this I like!! Some of those tailing sequences was super boring in the original. Loved the game still but this is a nice change.

Take Two have no interest in selling gta vi at a high price because they need a high installbase for online (where they make their real money). Instead other gaming companies need to chill out on development time and money spent making a game.

Love Remedy games. Hyped for another one.

Wouldn't call new leadership looking into different ways to move xbox forward in a healthy substantial way as flipflopping but ok.

Maybe they were running out of money and had to release it to get some income to keep working on it? And because it sold well on release they can now do all the things they didnt have a budjet for if they postponed the release? Either way, I'll buy the ultimate edition on next gen, maybe.

How long is the main story?

Never had a crash on xbox since launch day, not even one. And I've played Starfield like a lot.

Considering the pricing and file size I bet its a pretty short game. Still very much looking forward to it!

Remedy is awesome. I'll be there day 1 as always.

Lost Legacy 2 should have been made. Drakes story is done. A Sully story set as a prologue to the entire series could work too.

So combat is optional which is great because fighting regular enemies gets boring quick. Bossfights are nice though, as well as traversal. What makes this game great though is story, va, music and presentation. Definetly worth a playthrough!

Starfield is great. Always has been.

Been hyped for this game since the first reveal trailer years ago. Now I feel like I need to wait at least a year but most likely next gen.

The fact that powerpyx has listed they will release a platinum walkthrough on April 7th says it all (they usually release walkthroughs on day of release).
They already made a guide for Starfield when it first came out though so i wonder if any of the trophies are different from the original achievement.

The convluted menus and and user interferance made me cancel my preorder after playing the demo. Any chance you actually get used to it after playing for a while Shogun? I loved everything else in the demo but that one annoyance was too big for my liking.

Doesn't matter to me when they (xbox or ps) release their next consoles. I'm not buying anything next gen until they got like 5 pure exclusives I feel is must play. I got a Switch 2 when they had 3 exclusives I wanted but I could have easily waited one more year when I think about it.

Combat is weak but can be skipped entirely (this does void a bunch of trophies). However, everything, and I do mean everything else about this game is a 10/10 in my humble opinion. Definetly worth a playthrough!!

Unless Last Round includes all DLC's and works cross platform and with the og version it makes more sense to wait for the next installment tbh.

Lake House was crazy good. Currently playing Control AWE dlc again now and the little tid bits Remedy drops in it about Lake House is so awesome now that I've played it.

I was certain Sammy was gonna lobby this game into the top three. This is my GOTY right here.

I thought the reason it was painted as a sales flop was that SE themselves said it didn't meet expectations and had a weaker start than FF 16? Or am I tripping?

This weekend I'm playing DQ11 on the Switch and Indiana Jones on Series X. I've put STALKER 2 on hold for now. Its a great game but its really testing my patience at times and I'm not really in the mood for that. On PS5 I'm currently not playing anything but I am considering Rebirth, Infinite Wealth or Silent Hill 2. I might pick up one of them before the sale ends.

As for next year, there's currently 31 games I'm looking forward too. If 1/3 of them actually releases I'll be more than happy with 2025.

I gotta go with Dragon Age Veilguard. Never got bored with it. Game respected my time. And the main story was very intriguing with a superb 3rd act.

@Balaam_ Your reasoning is sound. Personally I dont think I will play it until they patch in an auto-complete feature for the minigames (that still unlocks trophies). I looked at all of them and they all seem silly and not fun. Except for the card game but I'm not sure.
