Why is it a huge blow to Sony, he's not been involved with anything ps5, and very little PS4 in terms of hardware or PlayStation studios.

Playstation itself they could nurture resistance, destiny, killzone, wipeout, Syphon filter, legend of dragoon, warhawk, Bloodborne, demons souls, lemmings, wild arms, heavenly sword, the order, infamous , returnal etc

I don't know the full metrics behind the game but in such a crowded and jaded market one would've thought it launching as free to play on pc, ps5 and Xbox would've been the way to go. And purely get revenue from cosmetics and paid expansions
