And the big one after all the anti consumer approach and all three of them being a total S bags to gamers putting costs up.

This generation is the worst I can remember be it PS5, Series x or Switch 2.

We shouldn’t fight or be fan boys as the big three love that. We shouldn’t fight each other but Unite and have an anti game day.
When no one in the whole world plays any games and makes any purchases for one day.
We shouldn’t fight but protest and unite.

Well it’s great to see Xbox back at the top in 2026 after 5 months gone.

They could beat FH6 with gears e day.
Would be amazing if they at the end of the year they have 2 or 3 in the top five.

On a more serious note.
Maybe GTA6
Maybe something from Nintendo if they release a big hitter this year.
Sony maybe Wolverine, but I have that around 89/90.

I frequent this website and the other sister website's and yes you get drawn into gaming world.
The passion the enthusiasm for the hobby which is amazing.

When certain games are released your mind thinks this is going to be a hit mainly due to websites like this one and the gamers.

But back in the real world it is a different reality now a days and it’s only the few that sell real numbers, general public have other things to deal with and pay for and take notice of and also gamers are far more shrewd with money and time as well.

Once the PS3 and Naughty Dog got going the PS3 was great.

Also PS Move with the light gun arcade games with gun attachment was amazing and probably will never be repeated in that way again.

Not one person mentions the environment.
We don’t deserve this beautiful planet we call earth.

All digital is the way to go and another chance to:

Reduce the cost of the games for digital like Nintendo have begun doing.

Reduce environmental pollution, by reducing manufacturing of plastics and the production of the physical parts in the first place and in the end discarded waste.

Game cost reductions and help the environment, you can’t get a better win win than that.

I just want Pro performance details.
I’m still hoping for 60FPS and Rockstar does the decent thing.

It’s very simple.
Like any Tool in life if used correctly and wisely it can benefit what you are trying to achieve.

I think if you can trust the internet.
FH5 sold more on PS5 than
Astro Bot and Ghost of Yotei.

After the reception FH5 got on PS5
Forza Horizon could almost have a new home and following
Also PS5 Pro like FH5, FH6 would be the best console place to play.

We have not long had the Pro and they just getting into the swing of that with PSSR 2.0

I bet there is loads they can do with the Pro yet and probably some with the PS5.

All about the money and prices and hard times as well.

I see Nintendo have just increased Switch 2 price.

It’s a niche type game and people are thinking hard before parting with their cash at the moment, and things are getting worse price wise with anything. And of course the dreaded redundancy of businesses of all types.

Yep you said it spot on Rockstar want 30fps this generation. Then 60FPS for PC.
Then the massive double dip next generation 60FPS and more bells and whistles.
They play it spot on Rockstar.

I usually get carried away with big massive releases, but until is see 60FPS it’s a no buy for me.
So maybe the Pro or next generation for me, I’m not PC gamer.

This can be what happens when you have one player miles ahead of the other.
One competitor Xbox console wise is zero threat now.
And so that only leaves switch 2.

Less competition, then more price rises and potential market profit abuse for us gamers.

We could all this coming as Xbox slowly declined in the console sales place.

Fantastic game and a bit different, highly recommend. Hope we get a sequel.

Overall what they all do or direction they go in, we must have competition for them all, which hopefully will benefit us.

I’m totally in the traditional console gang always have been. I don’t even have a PC really, apart from works laptop, which is not for personal use.

I will stick with traditional consoles, Pro for now, which is beaming with visual delight and smoothness since PSSR 2.0.

I do also wonder but maybe not if it is a bit of console sales protection going on.
This new Xbox Helix hybrid thing will able to play PC games, meaning I guess it can play Sony Studio games as well as switching to a console mode for Xbox console games.

I don’t think Sony have to worry about that but maybe they don’t like the idea.

I think everyone overall be it a gamer or general public has their place/preferred platform. Some driven by games some by friends and what they play on.

Generally but not a strict rule looking at the last generation. It all sells around the same, PS4 to PS5, Xbox one to series consoles, switch to switch 2 and the PC crowd.
It seems to be the amount of users is almost set for each generation nowadays.

The issue is the all the businesses, they not happy, they want more money, but I think they need to understand there is only so many people that want to play games and their users are set.
They just need to make sure the young crowd coming up with money and parents with children buy into their console etc.

I know it’s sounds all set and boring, but I think that’s where we are at now.

I will stick with RE9 and Pragmata.
Can’t be dealing with such overall poor quality workmanship and errors.
Especially in a game that’s been out over a year.
If it was a car 🚗 I would drive it through the showroom window and be getting a full refund by now.
Why gamers put up with such quality negligence I will never know.

Can’t wait for this one, need a new open ended adventure.
Had the great but tight level RE9 and Pragmata design, so now time for something open world.
Also sounds like it should look great on the Pro.
