It's been a bit all over the place here at Push Square Towers this week. We're in that hectic period just prior to E3 where there are few major stories breaking, but lots of little tidbits to talk about. Take the purported formation of a new PlayStation first-party team, being built purely to work on Project Morpheus games. There was also Sony's shock defeat in the April NPD, which came as something of a surprise. The biggest story, though: The Witcher 3. We've played it – a lot – and you can read our final verdict soon.

Reviews
Project CARS - 7/10
But then that's Project CARS in a nutshell: it's unfocused from the offset, and it's up to you to locate the parts that you find appealing. Think of this as a motoring playset – a production line of components that you need to order and assemble for yourself. Once you get the controls where you want them, your car exactly how you like it, and your race day tactics tightened up, it delivers an exhilarating ride, but few will have the patience – or, indeed, the willpower – to reach that point, and thus it's hard to imagine this outing achieving the mainstream success of other competing motoring series.
Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster - 8/10
Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster on the PS4 is the best that the games have ever looked. Sharp, crisp visuals bring the always enticing world of Spira to life on the big screen, while the core elements of both titles remain rock solid and impressively polished. The collection represents a great opportunity to jump back to a time when Squaresoft was seemingly unconquerable, and if you're totally new to the franchise, it's difficult to think of a better starting point.

First Impressions: The Witcher 3 May Be One of the Best Games on PS4
It's as simple as the headline makes it seem: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is something special. Although we're not quite ready to forge our final opinion on the game, we've put together this relatively quick impressions piece for you, and hopefully, it'll give you a decent idea of what to expect from CD Projekt Red's open world epic.
Interview: The Man Behind the Music - Jason Graves
It's not often that we flag down video game composers for interviews, but we were recently presented with the opportunity at North Carolina's East Coast Game Conference to speak with Jason Graves, who's behind the soundtracks for the Dead Space franchise, Tomb Raider, Evolve, The Order: 1886, and more. To our surprise, we were able to chat for almost an hour about his interesting career and the deeper aspects of his music, and we've transcribed all of the highlights beneath.

April 2015 NPD: PS4 Slumps to Shock Defeat
Well, well, well – this is unexpected. We reported on the PlayStation 3's failure to top the NPD charts for many years, but we've already fallen into a pattern where we expect the PlayStation 4 to lead. However, the numbers coming out of the United States for April 2015 may wake both Sony and ourselves up, as the Xbox One won. We know – it's not even Christmas yet.
